"Everything was well thought out. Everything they served was delicious, even the simple things, from their tea to their coffee to just regular fries, they serve anytime around the pool or the lobby etc. I can easily say a lot more about the personnel, amazing. Service is what they lived for."

"We booked a sea view room, beautiful views. Good breakfast and polite friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and come back. Only thing, is the distance from the hotel to the Konak ferry port or bazaar is definitely not a walk you can jump on a tram which is about 3 min walk from the hotel. And 2 stops you’re there. I’d say probably a good 30 min walk and if you plan on doing shopping you’d probably be exhausted by then as the markets are huge and a lot to explore. "

"We stayed here for 6 days and I honestly have not one negative thing to say. The staff were AMAZING! From the second we walked in to the second we left, the staff were accommodating and did anything they could to make us comfortable and ensure we were happy. The food service staff were complete gems. Housekeeping were phenomenal. Our room was a very nice size and that is always important to me. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was also a decent size as some bathrooms arent that big. The location was perfect. Walk to your right and you have, what seems like endless, options of restaurants and coffee shops. Walk over the bridge and you are in the middle of all the shopping and small bazaar. I 100% recommend and I would only stay here when we return to Izmir. If I could give 100 stars, I would! The attached photos are of views of the water when you step out the front doors of the hotel and down the pier a bit. "

"Bir Dem Urla is a beautiful spot with good staff. But unfortunately there are a few things lacking to making it great. The first is the toilet situation, it's understandable when old plumbing doesn't facilitate the flushing of toilet paper but when the bidet is broken on both the toilet in our room and the public toilet, it leads to a very smelly situation. In this case they should prioritize the repair of the toilets and the garbage should be changed daily to stop the whole bathroom smelling like feces. Upon arrival our garbage hadn't been changed from the previous tenants so it wasn't very nice to open the bathroom door. Next, the bees/wasps. The pool is gorgeous but surrounding the pool there's got to be a hive/nest somewhere very close. Travelling with a partner and child who are allergic to bees meant we basically didn't swim or hang out by the pool during our stay. Then there's the lack of storage in the rooms, this one is kinda picky but the rooms aren't that large to not have a dresser. We had a rod to hang stuff up but there was only three hangers. I don't find having to put my luggage on the bed every time I need to get something out all that convenient or relaxing. Overall, with some upgrades to the facility, I'd stay here again. But as it sits right now I would look for other places around Urla or go out towards Cesme."

"Wehad a wonderful experience at the Svalinn Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm and friendly attitude. Check-in was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed — offering a perfect balance of comfort and functionality. I especially enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet each morning, which offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to suit every palate. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious dishes that were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Overall, the Svalinn Hotel exceeded my expectations. The service, comfort, and food were all top-notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
