"excellent hotel great food helpful staff absolutely wonderful"

"Great location, great staff, spa and lots of areas to sit."

"Hotel was located at a prime spot in Inveraray, lovely views and within a block of the shops. The restaurant was a bit understaffed, food was good, just be prepared to wait a bit. Room was comfortable and well stocked with tea/coffee/snacks."

"Nice room, friendly staff, and great breakfast."

"The staff was friendly and the food at the in-house restaurant was very good. The condition of the room was good enough and clean, but everything from the doors, bed, bathroom and more was incredibly old and left some to be desired in terms of upkeep. I felt the pictures of the rooms online were rather deceiving. The location of the property though was fantastic with beautiful views."

"Lovely views, breakfast was delicious, Robert and Jana were helpful and pleasant."

"Friendly folks to greet you and recommend George Hotel for dinner. Beautiful and sweet cat made my niece very happy and added to the feel of home. Breakfast was very good. Convenient location for visiting Inveraray and the Castle.."

"Delux room with Loch views was amazing. Comfortable bed and linens. Well kept furnishings. Enjoyed the window facing chairs for hours of counting waves. Very walkable to town. I was without a car. Flat walk to shops and restaurants."

"Staff are amazing,we got an upgrade for a beautiful view on a lower floor, much bigger and brighter room couldn't fault it"

"I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...
