The room was spotless, although a little tired in some places considering the prices charged for rooms. However, apart from that, everything about the hotel is excellent. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast is exceptional, and the staff top it off. The bar has an amazing choice of drinks also. A great place for a night away!

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious and elegant Merchant’s Suite, which had a wood stove and a jetted tub. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed all the breakfast options and we had dinner multiple nights in the pub- delicious.

Had another really lovely stay at the George. Room was beautiful, clean, had a wood burning fire, view of the loch, and very friendly staff. Amazing hotel, stunning room and exceedingly friendly staff working in this family run hotel. The food was delicious seafood caught in loch fyne and couldn't have been fresher. Overall a wonderful stay and would return there again.

Lovely 1-night stay at The George on our Scotland road trip. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Loch Fyne langoustines for dinner were amazing. Breakfast was also very good, and obviously cooked fresh for each order. Would have happily stayed longer!
