You need to have a car to drive into Arcachon and the surrounding bay as there's nothing in walking distance. But if you have a car - this is perfect. Clean. Good breakfast. Quiet. Free parking. Excellent.

Loved our stay - staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a great location very close to the lighthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the pool was good fun. Thank you to all the staff!

This is a beautifully elegant hotel. Each room is unique with high quality fittings and products , particularly the quirky but very wearable bathrobes and the Dyson hair dryer. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble

We came for a weekend in the region and were very well looked after by the owners and their staff. Design was high spec and fitted with the local architecture. Food in the restaurant was great at breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront - the most impressive in Saint Jean de Luz, with a nice (simple) spa. The staff are the highlight - effortlessly efficient & totally capable - from the (handsome) door men to the amazing receptionist, capable maids & talented masseuse. The whole hotel was immaculately presented, including the room. My only disappointment was that the room was far too hot without the window open, and much too noisy with it open. The hotel is amassing, down side the bar closed at 9:30pm and the pool at 8:30 The botells of water in the room should be offered for free on a daily base and not just on arrival. Rooms are large, big bathroom, very clean and air-conditioning... very important when its 39c outside.

I would give this six stars if I could. It was excellent in all areas. The staff were wonderful and treated us as individuals and welcome guests. The restaurant was marvellous as was the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable. An exceptional experience.

The hotel and the surrounding area are great, picture perfect, tasty with a lot of activities. Hotel staff is a little forgetful, - for example when asked to organise a wine tour they never bothered, when I asked to book hotel restaurant for a birthday party they said they did but on the night it turned out they didn't bother again. Make sure you chase them properly.
