"Two of my three nights were spent in a room facing the night club across the street. The provided ear plugs were no match for the deafening noise that continued until dawn. I was grateful to to move to a quiet courtyard facing room on the 3rd night but given the number of reviews about the noise and the hotel's treating these rooms as if they were the same as all others, this is the only place I would not stay again after a 3 month trip."

"The location is right across the main train station. The room was clean however the mattress had a depression at the head side. I asked the front desk the next morning to rotate the mattress and they did but it houldn't have been used to start with. The decor is very dark and room was very small. Reminds you of hotel rooms shown in western movies. The reception area was also dark. Very depressing hotel. Can't figure out why it has such a high customer rating. I did not have breakfast so can't comment on that."

"The hotel itself was in a good location. However, we booked a city-view room and were not assigned one upon arrival. The reception staff advised that even when a city-view room is booked, it may not always be available, which was disappointing. If a specific room type or view is important to you, it may be worth confirming this with the hotel before your stay."

"Second visit yo this hotel as part of the same trip. Nothing more to add except save for ensuring your take note of A4 paper notices tacked to the front desk:; there was no water for three hours and, although I appreciate the onus is on customers to look at signs for information, but a gentle nudge wouldn't go amiss."
