This property does not air condition common areas like hallways , lobby, elevator, dining area. People are jam packed, sweating bullets, not able to relax or breathe or enjoy a meal or drink properly. Even the ice creams they serve are melting and not giving you a chance to enjoy them without dripping all over hands and clothes.
Drinks served at various bars are low quality and extremely watered down, unless you ask for neat whisky or beer. No brand names or top shelf liquor. No tequila. No wine variety.
If you are a family of 6 or more, you will have an extremely hard time finding a place to seat or dine with your family.
Food is mostly tasteless and worse than an average restaurant ! All the meat dishes are either tasteless, unseasoned stews full of the same veggies (cut differently) every day or extremely dried or burnt low quality meat. Grilled options are burnt and tasteless. They fill the buffet with so many cold side dishes, dips, xlarge bowls of olives and pickles and cabbage . Cold side dishes include recycled leftovers of the previous days stuffed into something or presses into patties. Every hot dish is either undersalted or oversalted and has no other seasoning. There are way too many cakes and sweets (most taste the same and only looked different). Pool side food is similarly horrible. The only decent portion of edible items they serve is the breakfast buffet and fresh fruits.
This is the worst all inclusive experience of my life!!!
Stay away from this place. They turn off the air conditioning in dining hall and lobby and hall ways and all other common areas in July!!!! You feel like like you are in hell trying to survive on sweets and fresh fruit because their food is so tasteless and unprofessionally prepared. Eggs are either undercooked or ruined and burnt. No seasoning other than salt and even that is not balanced. It is either too salty or not at all. Baklavas all tasted the same just came in different shapes. No rose water no cardamom no cinnamon no butter. Half the buffet is olives , picked veggies, leftovers of the day before mixed into dips and stuffed bite size things you could not figure out . Theme nights were a joke. For example: Asian night consisted of red colored Chinese themed decorations and table cloths while serving taco that did not taste like taco, what people called sushi (but was really California rolls with a long line that you’d rather skip in that heat). If this was a restaurant somewhere in the city, it would be a place we’d never choose to dine in. Imagine being stuck in a place with such quality of food for a family vacation. Kids survived on sweets and fries. Not one decent hot meal with properly prepared chicken or beef option. No spicy options or any spicy sauce to use. Poor quality drinks, alcohol and non-alcoholic. Poor quality tea. And for latte/espresso/cappuccino there just these machines that mixed instant made stuff. Overall this was not an enjoyable experience.

Über all Menschenmengen. Restaurant absolut nicht ausreichend. Kellner nicht professionell. Tische sehr nah beieinander. Lärmpegel sehr hoch. Strand gefühlt Massentourismus. Essenqualität mittelmäßig.
Very bad hotel , the staf dealing very rude in every where Reception, Restaurants etc the mentality its not matching with 5 stars resort
The food not tasty , all the drinks was bad taste as they try to choose the cheapest kinds , no iron in the room , and the laundry prices is too high , they close the compressor of the AC of the rooms at night only fan keep working so you will feel hot in night
The only good things for this hotel ( the Spa ) and the location .
We had a 7 night stay at the Fame. Nice big hotel, room with a nice view of the sea and bathroom with bathtub.
all inclusive with good varied food and drinks, , but we missed more fish and doner and iskendar kebab.
The hotel complied with covid19 protocol very well but the guests paid little attention to it.
We traveled with 3 boys but we had to pay for all activities such as basketball, tennis, billiard and bowling. lot of money payed during one week.
The indoor big and warm pool and hammam were very nice.
The massage with the staff from Bali was also very good.
An important issue when you give tip to staff : We used the tipbox which was located in the lobby and restaurant .. but two of the staff made us aware that it goes only to the management and tip is not shared with the staff. If this is correct, management should reconsider their work culture.
All in all very good stay and the hotel can definitely be recommended.
