Our room was a traditional one, with exposed brick/rock walls, below ground level. As explained this meant we had little natural light through windows and no view, but we felt very snug and safe in the room. As the room was a base for shopping and exploring the Old town and near Hadrian's gate, this was perfect for us. Good for a few nights, probably not for a longer stay, but there are more modern rooms with windows as well.

Wonderful staff and owner. Made us feel welcome and served us a wonderful breakfast each morning. Only issue was bedding or lack of which was eventually rectified. Great place to stay when in old town.

Good place to stay. Centric location. Clean and comfortable bed. One star less because was no cover sheet on the bed and air dryer was not working. In general recommend it. The attention was very good and helpful all the time. Check in / out easy.
