"My wife and I stayed at San Felipe for 8 nights in June 2025. We had a wonderful time there and enjoyed every minute. This is a place devoted to birds and birders, with an excellent bird guide on staff. The cabins are spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and freshly cooked each day. The owners of the property live on site and are very friendly and helpful (and speak English)."

"I wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was so perfect. We could see so many birds from our room, and they had binoculars to borrow. The staff was so helpful and kind. Our birding guide, Marcelo, was amazing. The room was really comfortable and the restaurant was great, too. "

"Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...
