"Don't book to stay it was closed spoke to some locals told it's a rip off booked on line payed money but could not find anyone there once again do not book this hotel hoping to get money back if possible on booking line looks nice in photos it's not boarded up"

"Attentive and friendly staff, good breakfast, parking off street next to B&B was useful, room well decorated and held the usual TV, kettle, drinks etc."

"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

"Really good breakfast and great stay"

"Delightful small hotel with good food and helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was that smoking is still allowed in the UK on outdoor bar patios."

"Lovely old house, the bedrooms were warm and cosy and the breakfast was exceptional"
