"Hotel was well-located, with beach access and near a convenience store. Plenty of food options around too, including Rimba cafe just across the street. Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that."

"Perfect place right by the black stone beach. There are two nice pools with sunbeds and you can watch the sea from the pool and from the sunbeds.
The breakfast included in the price is more than enough and taste is good.

"Our room was located at the back of the property, close to the road. There was a lot of traffic noise at night and then early morning, and while outside the control of the hotel, there was road work construction during the day which meant relaxing in the room wasn’t possible. I feel that it should be communicated when booking at the sea view cottage. The room was clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. "

"The shining star for this excellent resort was the staff. This resort was clean and the food was excellent. But the real star of the show was the outstanding staff at the resort. I have never had such polite and helpful people at a resort. Any negative areas that this resort has is more than made up for in the quality of their employees. I will return to this resort in the future. "

Learn about the local history of Amed when you take a trip to Jemeluk Viewpoint. Amble around the area's beautiful beaches or seek out the snorkelling spots.
Snorkel among vibrant coral reefs and shipwrecks in this quiet fishing village with black sand beaches. Local dive shops can arrange trips to the USS Liberty wreck in nearby Tulamben or traditional salt harvesting tours along the coast.
"This place is exactly what I was looking for in Amed. I have stayed in 3 sudamala groups properties before and they have all been exceptional experiences. Looking forward to staying again soon 🙏"
"This is not at all a takeaway from the hotel, but there are a lot of stairs and it is pretty much impossible to avoid them. The staff will help you with your bags so you don’t need to do any heavy lifting. If that’s something that doesn’t work for you, consider other hotels.
Perfect hotel that’s right on Amed Beach. Temper your expectations for luxury because it is a quiet little fishing town and pretty much the only thing to do there is snorkel and scuba dive that doesn’t take away from the facilities at all, but don’t expect a Marriott. Absolutely beautiful property with multiple pools and stunning views. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is comfortable. The spa on site is amazing, we got a couple’s massage and honestly, it was the best massage I’ve ever had for a fraction of the price that you will get at home. Restaurant has very good food, and there are countless little cafés and restaurants you can walk to along the street. Have cash on hand if you venture out of the hotel for food. ATMs are known to be unreliable in Amed so make sure you stock up before you arrive. I didn’t have any problems with them, but I’ve read that other people have. If you do use an ATM in the area make sure you use one that is inside one of the convenience stores and not a freestanding one, as those will possibly skim your card.

"Although we had one of the noisiest rooms, as it was close to the road, for the money paid it was great value! The staff, super friendly and helpful - in particular Nyoman who went of his way with exceptional and friendly service. He is studying hospitality and will go far in the industry with his personable, attentive, thoughtful service and attitude to his guests and his chosen profession "
"I spent three nights here and never left the property! It was so peaceful and beautiful and was the perfect little escape I was looking for. The staff are wonderful, and I enjoyed waking to the sound of the waves, floating in the pool, and walking straight into the ocean for some incredible snorkeling. The menu is very diverse and the food, made fresh to order every time, is absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back."
"Amazing staff and the most relaxed place we stayed at in Bali. Great food selection, delicious breakfasts. Beautiful villa. Massage highly rated also
You could stay here for a week and not go out, but we did go out with the complimentary driver to go for a snorkel on Lipah beach , which was well worth doing. Up early to catch the sunrise from the villa, walk up the road to catch the sunset to the west in the evening . Stunning "
