With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. Staff very friendly. Magnificent setting for a hotel in the town. Highly recommended

Traditional style hotel. Beautiful setting. Clean and great value deal. Room, 3 course dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we are very likely to return.

As experienced in late March 2015 at a very good rate of €80 inc breakfast. Very nice location & surroundings - it was a palace for Charles I (of Spain). I stayed for business trip and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to me from when I arrived. My Spanish is not great but were always helpful to try and help or accommodate me. Breakfast was good and the evening buffet meals had variety of choice. Many of the guests clearly visit for the pool and spa facilities, as well as hiking trials and cycling routes in the area. I did not have time for this but had an enjoyable stay and would return due to the practical location and friendly staff.

The most amazing parador a 16 th century convent converted beautifully. Breakfast was tasteful and evening meal sublime . A lovely outdoor pool with sunbeds and deckchairs to relax Hotel parking accessed by car lift but secure, charge 18 euros day . Beautiful courtyard to admire the building and sip a drink . Right in the old town walkable to the river and plaza . Not much was open in the town in the evening so book the restaurant in the hotel .

Fantastic place and location, quiet mountain village with selection of bars

Great choice at breakfast both fresh and freshly cooked. Almost everything homemade. The building has been converted to a really elegant hotel. The garden is a real bonus.

The staff were extremely helpful- the hotel was very clean and welcoming
