"It is an updated property and was very nice. The lobby, where they offer breakfast, has a strong order for some reason, and the staff helps you through a window at the side of the building, versus at the lobby counter, which is different, but they were very nice! I would stay here again for sure!"

"My go-to place when riding through west Texas. It’s pretty basic, but I can park my bike right out by the room. Fire pit for after dark. Basic amenities in an old school motor court type place. I would say if you’re into vibe and nostalgia, rather than making waffles in the breakfast area, give it a shot. It’s not for everyone. But I really enjoy it."

"The overall property is very clean and well cared for. It is Pet Friendly and no issues with our Pet -Pet cost is $20 per night which is much lower than many. The outdoor spa and pool spaces were clean, spa was wonderful - hours for spa and outdoor spaces is great. Staff are a family and very well versed in customer service. The bed linens were awesome and high quality. We will be back!"

"The property was clean and tastefully decorated. It was also well stocked with incidental toiletries to include toothbrush kits, although I did not need to use any of the supplies the host provided. I used one towel as a floor-mat and showered with my own towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I only had one very minor issue with a mechanical squeak coming from the A/C unit which I solved by turning off the oscillation function. I passed this info on to the host and I'm sure they will address it for future guests. The shower had a nice stream of water which quickly warmed up, and the bed was very comfortable for either sitting or sleeping. Since the price was approximately 1/2 of what the Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn were charging, I have only praise for this location. It is located south of town, but roughly in the middle of everything and only takes about 5 min to get to any of the attractions in Alpine. It is roughly 108 miles from Big Bend National Park, which is an easy drive. BEWARE of Alpine law enforcement, they can be very nit-picky about speed or other Texas Road Code enforcement. Totally enjoyable stay, would repeat 100%"
