The room was a great size, breakfast was lovely and the host was very accommodating in finding somewhere for me to charge my bikes battery. There is also a great room that can be used by all visitors if you don't want to sit in your bedroom alone. I'll happily stay here again next year while on my next ride in the area"

"A picturesque inn, in a beautiful area. Staff made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped through the door. Throughout our stay, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy room with spacious bathroom. Meals were excellent. Chefs are first class and every meal cooked to perfection. Quality food. A hearty breakfast provided a great start to our days. Even the dog got a sausage. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Bay Horse Inn. "

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
