"Many reviews said the Almerante could be a 4 star and having now stayed there I agree. It is modern, well maintained and very clean. Staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast items were all good quality though the choice is not as wide as I have experienced elsewhere. Still it was more than adequate. The pool was nice as well, no problem with sunbeds. It is a quiet hotel, which for us was fine. "

"The building and the apartment itself was very well presented with everything needed for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The apartment was really clean with plenty of towels if you needed them. The toiletries were eco friendly and you could get more from the housekeeper if you wanted to. The bed lovely and comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothing if you needed it. "We stayed for 5 nights and it was really enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was brilliant in the room. There is a spar supermarket across the road and the hotel is a few minutes walk to the bus stop where there’s buses every 15/20 minutes to bring you into the centre and it takes about 15 minutes on the bus. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. We didn’t include breakfast but we did enquire one morning and it was €19 per person which we felt was a bit pricey. We made use of the rooftop area and used the sun loungers and the pool. Towards the weekend on the Friday and Saturday it was very busy and we didn’t get loungers.!"
