"Beautiful apartment with awesome view of the pool and ocean. We were blessed to be there for six days. The only thing to watch is the scent. They pump scent into the building, especially in the lobby and public places, but until I asked about it, it was also coming in our apartment. It’s strong for anyone with sensitivity to this. "

"Very kind and caring reception staff, who, as soon as they saw my husband was having difficulty walking (a very recent development), went out of their way to organise a different apartment to that allocated since the lift was out of order, so we were only on the first floor. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the kichen was well equipped, although I would have liked a dishcloth in addition to a washing up brush so I could wipe the worktop, and a pair of scissors. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked good, with a large terrace area for sunbathing. I also appreciated the fact that although I am English (but also have Portuguese nationality and have lived here 13 years) the reception staff conversed with me in Portuguese - so often I am replied to in English. Parking was easy, and location is good - walking distance both to the beach and the exhibition centre by Lidl (we were there for the annual Wine Fair). I would certainly stay there again. "

"Staff members were friendly and helpful, the hotel wasn’t on the beach but just a couple of minutes away, virtually next door to restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. Taxis, parking right in front of the hotel."

"Of all the places on my trip that I’ve stayed so far, this was my favorite. The view was absolutely spectacular. You can easily overlook the entire bay and walk to the beaches in minutes. You are surrounded with lovely restaurants and snack bars and everything Alphea has to offer. I had such a nice balcony with table and chair chairs and enjoyed sitting on my balcony watching the sunrise every morning. It was unbelievable!"

"The hotel staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good with a large choice to suit all tastes. The nearby nightlife goes on well into the early hours and can be very disturbing if you don’t want to be part of it!"

"Firstly this property wasn’t an ocean view, fake shows in the picture. It’s okay when you want to book budget get away, but definitely not this place. The host was very rude, when I called for check in, she made us wait outside the property saying we haven’t inform them. With the wrong contact details how would it be possible. Honestly I would give 0/10. there were no enough kitchen appliances, the worst thing was water issue, don’t know how could they put this kind of boiler system in the holiday home, where 1/2 people take shower not BATH only shower and the water tank is empty that holds hot water. It means the other person have to wait for atleast 2/3 hours to get hot or warm water to take shower. They could charge e little more but should not treat their guests like this. Haven’t had pleasant stay. I would not recommend this property. if you don’t want to spoil your holiday please do not book with this property. "
