"The property is well kept. Most of the restaurants were not climate controlled and it was very humid and stagnant in there . The room had an issue getting cold enough for me, but I’m also going to menopause so I think it was more the humidity. I brought a table fan and hand held fan (that stayed plugged in and propped up at my face)and had to use both when sleeping. The food was not the best. The buffet could use some improvement and the sushi was just OK. I had to ask for wasabi and chopsticks. The drinks are not top shelf and the draft beer( Dos Equis) was not very cold. They did have a small selection of top shelf liquor but was limited. The beer drinkers in the group bought insulated cups which made a BIG difference. The water aerobics in the AM was super fun. There seem to be ice buckets in some rooms but not all. You have to ask for ice. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t. I think it should be standard to leave ice every day, but that’s just me. All in all, I was just so hot and uncomfortable the whole time, I can say it was 50(good)/50 (not good)for me. My husband (after getting his insulated cups) was happy as a clam. The big picture is that this was a nice property. They just lack the fine details."

"- Excellent customer service - Good options for food - More if a relaxed vibe than a party setting - Lots of beautiful wild life to observe. - Need more guest entertainment/evening shows - Lower room I was first given had an overwhelming mold smell and I had to be moved. Moved to a nicer upper unit and they were kind about it but if you smell mold, move. They tried to tell me it was normal but started to feel sick when in the room. - I would still 100% go back back because of the beauty of the resort, the variety of food and restaurants and the great customer care while there - If you can book directly with the resort as its cheaper than expedia packages and you get VIP access."

"Beautiful place, plenty of activities, only thing you need to inform guest of another housekeeper coming later in the day after 9pm the guest should be asked if service is needed no be surprised by someone coming into the while in bed"

"We stayed on the main floor and it feels like it’s our own house on the beach. Luckily no one was around so it feels very nice and private. The 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms were wonderful for layout and the common rooms of kitchen/living room and dining room were great for all of us to spend time together. The beach view was wonderful but the sargassum just ruined the experience as we couldn’t use the beach at all as there was so much weeds on shore and in water despite the staff hauling and spraying for the bad smell that gets more noticeable toward the end of the day. The other things that need improvements are: softer mattresses as they are way too hard, same with the hard cushions in the living room. Better maps as we couldn’t understand in middle of night why we were in another building two buildings away from the main one. It took us over half an hour to figure it out. Otherwise the knives are all dull but kitchen was well equipped for us to make family meals together. The staff is wonderful and responsive to our needs. They clean the condo every two days. Very attentive. The location feels safe and private. It is however at least 1km from the Tsuuk Nature Park. And there are no free beaches except in front of the condo. We luckily had a vehicle so we were able to visit nearby cenotes, Yal ku lagoon, Xel-Ha etc… lots of things to do besides the beach…"
