Wonderful views of Nagoya Castle and their own private Japanese garden. An extraordinary swimming pool, onsen, and sauna with full cedar logs. What was even more impressive was the generous and dedicated staff. They pampered us, treated us exceptionally at every opportunity. They all made us feel like special guests. ...

"The onsen is great after a long day seeing the sights. If on foot from the train station, don't go up the uneven stairs, stay on the road. The road is steep but a safer and easier option."
