Our home on the other side of the world!

We could never say enough about Aiyush and Pooja. They were so wonderful and accommodating to us and our local friend. Pooja is the best cook and they both made us feel like we were at home with family. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to them!

Indian hospitality at its best!

Our first homestay - welcomed by a lovely couple who were so helpful. Aiyush sorted out a great guide and driver for us at very good price. Pooja provided amazing home-cooked meals and is a fantastic cook. We enjoyed talking to the owners and other guests. It was a very positive experience for us with excellent communication - important when travelling in India. The home is lovely and clean. The room itself was a simple one but with all facilities, particularly strong wifi.

This location was outstanding! The staff were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to be helpful andcorteous. This was like arriving at your mothers or grandmothers home for Christmas. It was better than being at home and the price was very reasonable.

The best part was the caring nature of the owners.We felt at home and very safe and secure.We asked for an auto as we were 2 ladies only and were provided with a trustworthy driver.They told us options for eating out too It was a wonderful stay.Though it was a residential area we enjoyed being away from the noise .

Ayush and Pooja are the perfect hosts and waaayyyy beyond what is expected to make their guests stay memorable. They will arrange drivers, travel details, cook you some amazing food and give you great tips. A true bargain! I would highly recommend this property!

Khasmahal , Agra Homestay.

This is a homestay, managed by a husband & wife team. The rooms are well kept but a bit of natural ventilation would be desirable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They provide home cooked meals at extra cost. The food was amazing indeed. Would definitely recommend.

A very friendly and helpful owners. They took care of us very well and it's a beautiful place for people going to AGRA with family. Mrs. Pooja is a very good cook and we really enjoyed her cooking there.

This ground floor Homestay is about 5 minutes away from the Taj Mahal by Tuk Tuk. The hosts are lovely people who always seem to have time to talk and help. The food was all home cooked Indian family fare prepared as needed. I can recommend eating there in the evening, and the hosts do a cooking course for a modest fee. The room was quite adequate with a large wet-room style washroom. I did get a few insect bites, but they did not detract from the stay. I would recommend this Homestay as comfortable, good value and super hospitable. In fact, the advice I had from the hosts about when and where to see the Taj Mahal pretty much led to the highlight of my three weeks in India.

Very warm and welcoming hosts. As other reviewers said- it was like staying with family or friends. They made everything easy and comfortable for us. Delicious food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as needed). They arranged for a wonderful day touring in Agra with a guide and tuk-tuk driver for us. WiFi. Plenty of bottled water. Private bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay.

As a group of 5 friends, we had an excellent experience staying for one night at Khasmahal Homestay and would highly recommend it! Our hosts, Pooja and Aiyush, were extremely welcoming, friendly and considerate and hugely improved our stay in Agra with their local knowledge and great advice. The food was wonderful and rooms and amenities were excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended, thanks for making our trip to Agra so memorable!

A Home Stay in every sense of the word !!

We stayed in Khas Mahal for 1 night just recently and wanted to stay more and were not feeling like packing up .... it was a wonderful experience and cannot ask for more. Pooja and Aiyush, the awesome hosts, made us comfortable like an old college friend and guided us throughout our stay with also planning our visit to the Taj Mahal The homestsy is very nicely done up with all luxuries one normally requires in travel. Rooms are lovely, spacious and bathrooms well appointed. The breakfast was sumptuous and plenty. Pooja is an amazing cook. Spread was very nice, we enjoyed the Paranthas and Poha a lot. If we visit Agra again, stay will be at Khasmahal without any doubt !!!

A home away from home

I was traveling with my 5 month old baby and the hosts, Pooja and Aiyush made it so easy and comfortable for me and my little one. The food was home made and served hot on the table. We were served breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was yumm. I got so excited when they served some of my favourite things!! Pooja and Aiyush are doing an awesome job at this home stay and are taking care of the guests like family :) The rooms are huge and guests have their own personal space. I’d recommended it to all kinds of travellers looking for a cozy place to stay at.
