"The only disappointment but it is quite a game changer was the bathroom. The shower over bath is dated as most now have walk in showers with the option to request a bath. This shower over bath had the worst water pressure I have ever encountered in a hotel and we were only on floor 2. If I moved the shower head in a certain direction, the water actually stopped coming out! The glass screen was also old and the floor was covered in water after a shower. There rest of the hotel was excellent. The gym is small for a large hotel and to not have the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc not open until 9am was poor. Donโt think this as a negative because overall it was a great stay but Crowne Plaza could step up a little in these areas covered here."

"The hotel was in a fantastic setting and our room was great. We didnโt have an evening meal there so I canโt comment on that but the breakfast was disappointing. The staff were rude, a large number of tables were left with dirty plates etc even though it wasnโt that busy. We had to ask for basic things like glasses and milk to go with the tea etc because there werenโt restocking them for guests to use. The evening entertainment was fun although go would advise to go with plenty of time as the seats fill up fast leaving many having to stand up at the back. There are Lots of activities to do around the site. Overall it was lovely but some of the staff need to be retrained about customer service."

"The directions to hotel were good, check in was quick and easy. Room was comfortable, bed was relaxing. Toilet and shower were spotless Buffet breakfast was well stocked with hot and cold products and well ranged when I was eating"

"Wonderful stay at the Lygon Arms, free and convenient parking. Ideally located right in the heart of Broadway. Bookings for dinner are recommended for both restaurants, excellent cocktails are the bar (no cocktails available at the Tavern). Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Lots of walks right from the hotel. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. The spa has very nice changing rooms and showers. Would definitely return. The two small issues we had was our room was right on the High Street (accessed through the dining room) so there was a lot of street noise in the evening with the windows open during the summer as there is no air-con. As our room was only accessible by walking through the dining room, we were told we couldn't wear the provided dressing gowns/slippers when we had to walk through in the dining room when going to the pool/spa and for a massage, so had to bring a change of clothes. I understand the policy completely, but it would have been nice to have been told this ahead of time and given the option to change rooms. When staying again we will request room off the high street and with freer access to the amenities."
