Nunne Boutique Hotel
5/5 Excellent
I'm in love
"Prepare yourself; I'm about to gush.
Where do I even begin with this stunningly beautiful hotel? Cleanest room I maybe ever have stayed in. My little 'attic room' was exactly perfect for me, and they even gave me the room that peeks up to the fancy buildings on the hill. I could just see it when I was laying on maybe the most comfortable bed I've slept on. It was incredibly quiet, but then there aren't tons of people anywhere in the middle of winter. (Though, side note, it barely got below freezing all week!)
Admittedly, the fitness room was a bit small.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied and delicious, with a wonderful little treat on my birthday. On my less energetic days I would sit in the adjacent lounge and watch the bustle on the Old Town street.
Everyone was so, so friendly and warm and helpful, without even requiring a bunch of obnoxious small talk first ...boy do I love Estonia for that. Also for solid net connection being trivial and assumed.
The spa! The spa, my friend, was absolute heaven. A beautiful lounge, and then three different saunas, including one steam and one hot enough that I had to work up to it. Simply wonderful.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
