Nice for the price
This is a nice little hotel run by lovely people, good food in the evening, was given a breakfast box as I started my day fairly early. My Room was not the most modern but I had all the necessary things in there to get by. plenty of parking only downside was the wifi was not to great in my room.

Pleasant location
OK for one night B&B stopover. A bit pricey for what it was.
No heating in the bathroom so a bit chilly in the morning.
I enjoyed my stay at The Park. It is a clean and very comfortable place. The service was good and nothing was a bother. Everyone was very friendly.

Friendly people, but has issues & not worth £90.
Nice people, clean room and good size bathroom. However there were plenty of issues sadly.
1) while the booking on hotels.com was made with an Amex, the hotel indicated they were unable to access the details. Upon being presented with the same Amex, they said they didn't accept that card! The hotel accepted this was their mistake - they had failed to inform hotels.com of this. This was quite embarrassing as I had no other way to pay £90 - had to use phone banking to get the money transferred across
2) The room booked was a double - which for all intents and purposes means a double bed. However the room was tiny, and consisted of a small double. Not comfortable for two people.
3) The room was promoted as having air conditioning - an important feature given the recent hot weather. However, this is incorrect - the hotel has no air conditioning at all. Combined with the tiny bed, this made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep.
4) There were plumbing issues - in the shower it was a case of burn or freeze! There were visible hairs in the drain which was a bit gross too.
5) Some customer DIY required for sorting out the electrics!
It's the only place in the area so if you have to stay there, avoid rooms 3 and 4. Not sure what the other ones are like, but these are defo not ones you want to be in.

WiFi was very intermittent which was a major inconvenience on a work trip. Staff at check in were rude and unhelpful but this did improve. Excellent breakfast
Four adults shared a family room which was really a suite of two rooms plus bathroom, nice spacious rooms with single beds for everyone. Full welsh breakfast was included in the price but not mentioned on website. The breakfast was delicious esp the veggie sausages. We will be returning soon.
It was for one night only.
I had phoned the day before and said that I would arrive at 11:00pm. I was told that that was no problem.
The hotel is run by a lovely couple.
My room was small, and the wiring was very D.I.Y. - THE BATHROOM WAS LARGER but had plumbing issues.
The Staff were FANTASTIC as was the breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again but not in Room 4.
Very warm, friendly and helpful, good location.
Smashing breakfast - sadly Chef had an accident and was unable to work for the 2 days we stayed so not evening meals available.

Interesting old building in a lovely part of Wales
Short overnight stay due to the location of the venue.
Set on the edge of the Black Mountains the Park Hotel is located in beautiful countryside. Our stay was very enjoyable with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The bar was enjoyable in the evening with a typical pub like atmosphere and the breakfast in the morning was very good. I would most definitely book here again.
Hotel proved ideal for me.. I spent 3 weeks working in the area and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Close to work location. Good food. Comfortable room.
Business stay. Food was good, room was good.. Perfectly satisfied with my stay

Overpriced little single room
Small room measuring 2.35m x 4.35m (No 3 on first floor) with large radiator 28cm from one side of bed. Could be dangerous when on. No table on this side just a standing lamp which was operated from the wall plug on the other side where there was a side table with light. Small half height wardrobe with two hangers. No hairdryer. Small double bed. Two hard chairs. Small corner shower (with broken door). 2 shampoos and 1 half full shower gel. Plastic tumblers not in sealed plastic. Only one set of towels. No heating in bathroom. Cooked breakfast ordinary. Boxes of cereals, milk and orange juice. No fruit or yogurt. The setting is lovely and the mattress, pillows and quality of the 1 set of towels was good. No signs or mention of sauna or spa hotel. Most of the staff were friendly. However this room is terribly overpriced at almost £100
