"My wife and I along with our 5 year old Grandson spent 4 great nights at Hotel Le Royal. Nice and quiet area, hardly any traffic passing by even though its in the centre of the city. The hotel is nice and clean and the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. We will be returning to Hotel Le Royal next year !!!"

"The overall experience is nice and the room was comfortable. A complimentary bottle of water would have been appreciated. I expected at least a boiler in the room , there wasnt. They want us to really go to their restaurant for everything. The loby is quite small and the restaurant takes the whole of the space. So it was more a hotel for sleeping"

"This was a nice little hotel. The room was fine for two people sleeping separately since it had the pull-out sofa, although the pull-out wasn’t the most comfortable. The space was tight, but workable. The staff were all very pleasant and the breakfast that I opted to pay extra for was actually more extensive than I expected. It’s nothing luxurious, but definitely good for a basic moderately priced hotel. "

"The hotel was situated very central in old town of Lyon, very close to many restaurants, sights, and tours. Rooms were snug, couple of the floors did not have elevator access. The bath towels were pretty low quality, might be our only complaint. AC worked really well so that’s a huge plus in France. Have to get your own water from the main floor, hopefully they have caps for the bottles as they did not when we stayed here. "
