Comfortable and spacious. Quiet area. We like the burger place next to the hotel. A few supermarkets (Auchan, U Express, etc) are nearby. Pay €5 for the use of washing machine. Value for money.

A lovely home away from home

Comfortable, clean, and homey stay - the staff there really helped to make this place a gome away from home for me while I was staying for a week :) The room itself was well-equipped with a kitchenette including a fridge, and I came back from exploring the city or seeing the games every day to see that housekeeping had left my room spotless every time. The location was very convenient: Close to 2 major tram lines and not too far away from 2 major metro lines as well as multiple amazing restaurants. A great place to stay for a while!

Good hotel good value

Pretty good. Good area of Lyon for bars and younger people. Car parking on street available for not much money on nearby streets. Studio was very large, clean and good value. Both staff we met were friendly.

The hotel is non-smoking, but we were first given a room that smelled strongly of cigarettes. Fortunately, the manager quickly changed our room. We booked two rooms, but they were on different floors, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was fine. The lighting in the room is rather dim, and the facilities are a bit old, but all the staff were very kind and helpful.Parking can be quite challenging, and I probably wouldn’t come during the high season.

Took staff a couple of hours to show up & tell us we needed to "card" the door shut on exit (& that dead bolt did not work). Mini-kitchen very useful for travelers. WiFi OK not super fast. Good AC in room (room was 24C on arrival even though it was early October but system handled this well.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Adagio. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the location was okay for what we had planned. We had two rooms and were able to use the breakfast area in the evening to eat a meal together that we had prepared in one of our kitchens. The reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because we had to carry our heavy luggage up a flight of stairs from the parking garage (which was not free). Had we been told at registration that we could have parked in the street for a few minutes while unloading the luggage, it would have made our check in much more pleasant. Also, our shower door did not have a plastic gasket at the bottom, and it was impossible to shower without getting water all over the floor. Fortunately, we did not have clothing lying on the floor or it would have gotten soaked.
