"Excellent Facilities, Excellent Food"
It is in the CBD area - very accessible. Excellent food at Lime Restaurant, excellent service, surrounding & facilities. The swimming pool area is also very comfortable, and it has a well-equipped gym. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in!

"Just Perfect"
We only stayed for one night in this hotel. But wow it was beautiful. All the staff were very helpful. We had lunch and a breakfast in the hotel. Both were excellent. The pool is stunning (infinity pool looking over the river) There is a cake and chocolate store in the lobby. Definitely worth a try. Christmas decorations were stunning. In our room were books explaining the history of the building. Its a very interesting building and well worth the stay. Also to check out the bar on the roof. In my view its the best view in the city

"Grand historic hotel"
As expected, grand colonial building Fabulous staff, so charming and helpful. Impeccable service, unusual these days and high standards of cleanliness which makes up for the noisy air con and rattly ceiling fans! Which of course add to the charm

"Lovely hotel with pools"
This is a beautiful hotel with 2 pools and every amenity you can wish for including gym, kettle and drinks in the room, complementary bottles of water, towels on the pool loungers, handy andy (phone to use in the city for free local calls and sat nav), etc. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereal, pastries and selection of hot food (both western and Asian). The staff are very helpful. The only downside is that to get to the MRT it's about a 20 minute walk. Taxi from airport $20.

"Good hotel. Some annoyances."
Very comfortable interior. We stayed there 3 nights. Pool was great. Staff were excellent. Internet expensive but ok. No movies on demand was annoying and TV reception quality could have been better.

"Amazing hotel right on Marina Bay"
My wife and I spent NYE at the Mandarin Oriental and were very satisfied with our stay. On arrival we were greeted from our taxi by staff who took our bags to our room, and checking in was very efficient. The room was very comfortable (literally a bed that you could sink into it was that comfortable) and had a big bathroom with a huge bath and separate shower cubicle. The pool area was amazing with great, very attentive, service from staff and the view of Marina Bay was excellent - we were able to see the midnight fireworks clearly from the comfort of the hotel pool area with drinks served from the bar. The concierge was very helpful in arranging tickets for attractions and provided us with maps when we needed them. The buffet meal at Melt cafe on NYE (with flowing alcohol) was plentiful, with so much on offer - it was delicious and testament to the quality of the food served there. We booked ourselves in the Spa on NYE during the day and came out exceedingly relaxed - I'd definitely recommend the Spa; there are plenty of treatments and the staff are very professional. Checking out was straight forward, and our experience was only marred by a bottle of champagne that was added to our room bill on NYE (which we definitely didn't order) - staff were apologetic about this, and are still (to my knowledge) looking into it. Lastly, as we had a late flight home we were able to leave our bags securely at the hotel during the day for no charge. Overall, an excellent experience!
