"The check-in for this property is very problematic. Note that their credit card reader doesn’t always work. And they are very lucky if you try to pay with cash about the condition of your bills. The slightest crease on a bill and they won’t take it. This makes paying for the property difficult and a completely unnecessary headache. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Galle Fort Hotel. It was a beautiful property in the middle of the fort town which had lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was unbelievably beautiful and felt very luxurious. The staff were so attentive and kind. The breakfast was my favorite I’ve ever had at a hotel! Beautiful fruit and delicious cooked food. Cannot recommend enough! We will be back. "

O hotel está classificado como 5 estrelas mas equivale a 2 estrelas. Fica longe do centro e da praia, Está a precisar de obras e restauro no mobiliário. A Limpeza é muito deficiente. "This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! Thank you Banisha for being so friendly and welcoming! <3"
