A good sized room. Very clean. 40 meters from the Metro - (about 20-30) minutes to tourist attractions) with a little shop near the Metro open late to get water, drinks and snacks. But the best part was the staff. They were really fantastic! All of them. Value for money.

Excellent little hotel with superb staff who go out of their way to acccommodate. From arranging the bottle of champagne in the room for our arrival to the super urgent taxi to the British embassy for an emergency replacement passport (long story!) nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are all wonderfully quirky and superbly appointed.

We were very lucky and had a free room upgrade to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. We have had many trips to Paris and I can honestly say this was the best room we have ever had. It was very spacious with everything you could want for a lovely stay.
It was unique in that not only could you see the tower from the bed but from the shower too. This must be the best room in the hotel.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpfule and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in great location.
Room had plenty of space and all staff were really friendly. We arrived a little early but this was no problem and we were able to check-in slightly ahead of time.
Buffet breakfast was ideal for starting the day, without spoiling your appetite for lunch.

Staff were lovely and helpful, answered any questions we had. They made the trip easy for us by booking airport transfers, they went through the amenities with us. We were so thankful for the free cold water tap they provide in the 'living room', it was so good to have after a long day of exploring, eating and drinking. The room was very good, plenty of space for 2 and decorated nicely and very clean. It was amazing value for money - we weren't expecting such a nice place for the amount we paid!...

Great place to stay for a weekend in Paris. Right next to the Louvre. Cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever seen although the shower was a bit small. Staff were great to deal with - all spoke English and were very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing - I think the hot chocolate was made with actual chocolate. Highly recommend this place. Will look to stay here again when I return to Paris.

My wife and I came for 4 nights in March to explore Paris. Hotel la Lutece (derived from Lutetia, the name of capital of the once gallo-roman ancestor of Paris) is a friendly, clean, comfortable and quiet little place right in the middle of Paris, in walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre and quartier Latin, for example. We arrived with the Eurostar, in itself an amazingly straightforward and stress free journey, at Gare du Nord and took the Metro 4 to Cite, the Metro station located on the...
