"I stay here often for work trips, the staff are the best and are always so accommodating, while make feel right at home. The rooms are always clean, cozy and the beds are so comfortable. I always look forward to staying at the Proper and will be back again soon!"

"Clean for sure. Lovely staff, very helpful. Modern, trendy spot with a really odd layout, but I guess that's LA. We had friends staying in the penthouse, but it blocks away; too far of a walk after dark. The lounge was closed, sadly. Menus and QR codes were in the room, but there was no kitchen to bring food from. I'd take the menus out if I was the owner. The burger joint (Glory) downstairs nextdoor was awesome though. They even stayed open late one night after a show at the Orpheum let out. Nice owner! Other things: My friends were in a studio room, and they really needed black out curtains like we had in our regular room with 1/5 of the windows. One more room recommendation: they need some sort of a light in the closet. With black paint, you cannot see in the closet. Even a push button light on the wall would help. For the record: none of these "complaints" were enough to not enjoy our stay! Just tryin' to help :)"

"The Biltmore was a great hotel and overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was great, the rooms were comfortable, and the hotel had everything we needed. The self-parking garage can be a little tight, especially when driving up and around the different levels, but there is still enough room as long as you take your time. Other than that, we had no issues with the parking. One of the best things about the hotel is the location. Since you’re right in Downtown Los Angeles, there are plenty of places nearby within walking distance, especially when it comes to food and other things to do. It’s actually nice being able to leave the car parked and walk around the area, and after enjoying some good food, you can walk some of it off! Overall, we had a great experience. Good amenities, great staff, comfortable rooms, and a very convenient location. I would definitely recommend checking out the Biltmore if you’re looking for a place to stay in Downtown LA."
