"This property is outstanding. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy access to all that Carmel and Monterey offer. The vintage look and feel of the property with all the beautiful foliage was exceptional. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the grandkids. We loved everything about our stay here and will definitely be planning another stay in the near future."

"What a charming little hotel! Our room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. We had a private balcony where we could leave the door open for fresh air. Property has an area with fire pit and hot tub. There is a Tavern attached to the hotel with great food, beer and service which we especially appreciated after a long day of travel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area."

"I wasn't sure if I wanted to book due to the reviews complaining about the noise, small rooms, and lack of parking. However, our trip turned out to be perfect. The room we stayed in was spacious and ideal for my family of 5. There was some noise since the hotel is located in the town, we slept with a window open but honestly they is to be expected when staying in downtown. Parking was not an issue. The staff were extremely friendly. There is an old rotary phone in the lounge that my boys enjoyed using to call the front desk. Unbeknownst to my boys, the front desk staff would answer and humorously refer to it as the bat cave. This became my boys' favorite part of the trip. The hotel is very beautiful and full of character. We dined at the restaurant and the food was good. We wish we could have stayed longer."
