Quaint little room was a lot of fun and all amenities were thoughtful (umbrellas provided in the room for example) and comfy. Breakfast was reasonably priced and had lots of good choices. Surprisingly quiet at night - they had a patio nearby but we didn't hear a thing from it and enjoyed restful sleep. A great place and we were glad we stayed there."

"Booking in was very easy and friendly. All our special requests were granted. The room was clean and fresh. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Pizza in the garden was excellent as was a cheese platter. More than enough to eat and very tasty. York being the home of the Kit-Kat, there were free chocolate treats in the room and plenty more for the asking - a highlight of our stay!! All in all, the service was exemplary.
