I neede a bed for the night. Clean, quiet - just fine. TV remote batteries were a bit dodgy but I rattled them round and sorted it without bothering the front desk. They hooked me on to the premium wifi for nix :-)

This property is NOT good value. You can stay anywhere in Wellington and get to the airport easily. Book somewhere else. The property is from the 50’s. Furniture is worn. Furniture is broken. Carpets are worn and stained. Window coverings are netting cut with kitchen shears. Beds are soft and uncomfortable. Sheets are cotton and lovely, but bed spreads are polyester and pilled. Because the property is so old, you can hear EVERYTHING. We used 2 white noise apps to sleep. It’s not the staff’s fault that property owner does not care. Staff were just LOVELY. This area is really being developed. I think the owners are waiting for a development offer and therefore paying no attention to this property. DO NOT BOOK.

This is an older hotel that could certainly use some upgrades. It’s close to the airport so the airport shuttle is nice.

The property is quite dated and looks to need a good spruce up. The restaurant had quite a limited menu. The 3 waiting staff seemed to be a little disorganised, while we were greeted and seated quite quickly. An older lady waited quite a while to be assisted. She ended up taking a seat at a table that had been patially cleared and then seemed to be forgotten about. I enquired on her behalf if someone could please finish clearing her table and give her a menu. The restaurant was not overly busy while we were there. Service was certainly not what I would have hoped for. Wait staff did not look overly well presented. The reception staff were efficient and very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble.

Hotel badly in need of updating. Polystyrene tiles on ceiling which i was under impression had been banned everywhere, worn carpets andcalthough everythingvthat youvrequiredcwas there roomscwere just very tired, old fashioned and bland. Mattresses very of a poor quality or maybe just past there sell by date. No elevators and extra charge for ground floor room. Some members of staff very helpful others totally disinterested. No offer made of help with luggage which would have been beneficial especially as i had an injury. Could be a very nice hotel with an update.

Loved the driver for the shuttle bus to the airport so friendly and helpful. Having a free shuttle to the airport is excellent. The room was a good size and for basics and an overnight stay suited our needs. Didnt like not having conditioner available for my hair.

I enjoyed my stay. Beautiful evening meal, I forgot to thank the chef's for. Please pass on. There was an apology for the wait of the meal, I assured them there was no wait. Tidy clean facilities of room, comfy bed and quiet room for a great sleep. Prompt shuttle. All staff friendly and helpful. I plan to return. Thank you.

Good place.
It was clean and mostly comfortable. It was very warm and there is no air conditioning and no way to have the breeze cool the room down and no fan. There should be a fan in every room. The front desk gave me their fan because all the others were given out. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Didn't stay long as we were taking family to catch a very early but enjoyed our stay at the Brentwood and would like to go back for a little longer as the pool looked very inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would come again

Fantastic hotel with free airport shuttle
Great place to stay when needing the airport the next morning. Free shuttle bus is fantastic. Beds were comfortable and everything necessary for our stay was good. Staff were fantastic-carried our cases up and down the stairs!! Highly recommend this hotel.

Perfectly adequate
We stayed a night at the Brentwood recently and were able to leave our car there when we went South for a few days. Excellent service that couldnt be faulted. The room was a little tired as was the bed but it was adequate for a night and can't beat it for convenience.

Our checkin was at 1pm but no one informed us that the room wasn't ready yet we had to go and wait till the room was ready! It would be great if hotels staff informed guests prior to check in that hotel is not yet ready not when we come to the reception to actually check in! Hotel room had a blockage issue in the wash basin!
