"Easy enough to find, a number X4 bus from the airport into Valletta then a 5 minute walk. 1.5 Euros for the bus Owner and staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Full english breakfast a welcome bonus to start the day off. Lovely settings for breakfast, like a step back in time, very ornate with a personal touch, you feel like you're sitting in a National Trust property. Air Con in the room worked very well. "The Staff were incredibly warm and kind. Taking their time to explain the location and providing helpful recommendations. Special shout out to Rhea, Raja ,Mayan, Winnie and Rolian in the breakfast room (who made the best Cafe Latte! :-) Location-wise, this hotel is in a perfect spot. Close to most of the notable sites. "The two lady receptionists were very helpful, e.g.: asked how my room was, then fixed the problem of the air-conditioning, though it took 2 goes; quickly offering coffee as needed; helped ordering transport to the airport, coming out to where I was waiting in the next street, to say the car was stuck in traffic, then waited with me until he arrived. The balcony was pleasant but too busy sightseeing to use it."

"It's on a busy restaurant street. If you are facing that road be ready for noise (either from diners / happy go lucky folks in the evening / night time as well as cleaners / garbage collectors in the morning hours. The windows don't really noise insulate well. Staff are generally friendly. Good location in old town. More of a 3* hotel than 4* but I think this star inflation is common in Malta. "

"This is a very unique place to stay in the heart of downtown Valletta. Great walk ability to the restaurants and shops. A great view of the port. We were lucky enough to be there for the fireworks. You couldn’t ask for a better view. The staff were beyond helpful. It is an old hotel but they have maintained it very well."
