"The property was in a great location for all of the iconic attractions in downtown Washington. The breakfast was great we ate there everyday. Only problem was the air conditioning and heating did not work properly. We could not set the temperature in the room it was either too warm or too cool."

"Our Stay at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel was Excellent. Location , Customer Service, comfortable bed and Pillows, and located in a quaint neighborhood. The The Room was very comfortable. When we come back to Washington, we shall definitely come back to the Melrose Georgetown Hotel."

"The unusual thing about the River Inn is literally every employee, front desk, bellman, food service & room cleaning go out of their way to be friendly and extremely helpful. Even the small things, heading toward the elevator? They push the call button. Need hot water? Here it is. Need a recommendation? They ask a couple of questions and you get all the details. Heading for the door? Anybody in the vicinity opens it. Don't see this as consistently at the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton!"

"We have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and have never been disappointed. For an older hotel, it is kept up nicely. The rooms are a little small but are clean. The beds are extremely comfortable! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Please note that there is no free parking (it is D.C.), and the valet was expensive at $55/day."

"It's a dated property for sure, but the pool was great, wasn't too noisy. Staff was alright. Not a lot to say, really... The restaurant was okay. If you're looking for not too expensive but decent, this might be a good place for you. "

"I had been wanting to stay at the Hilton for a while and found a good rate for the weekend. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very professional. I ate lunch at their restaurant and wasn't disappointed. There's a level of service and quality you get at a hotel restaurant that you just can't get at a chain restaurant. They'll make you feel comfortable when you're far from home."
