upon arriving at our room, we encountered several cleanliness issues, including an unvacuumed floor with visible debris such as a rubber band, a hair tie, and toenail clippings. I reported these issues to the front desk immediately. The staff responded by offering a room change, which we declined, hoping instead that our concerns would be quickly addressed in our assigned room. A cleaning crew was dispatched, but only after a few hours, and our complaint was apparently not documented as I had to reiterate it during checkout.

Great stay if you’re staying in the northern end of the city. Conveniently located close to the train station and MODA center. On-site security made the stay feel safer.

Perfect location! Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff is very friendly. Love that they have valet parking. Little restaurant they have is wonderful. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

The valet services at the property were horrible. We paid for the services and they left the car upfront on the streets for over 8 hours. If we were going to leave the car on the streets, why would we pay for valet.

The hotel was very clean and staff attentive and courteous. Restaurant offered nice selection of items and was open late. Location was what we were after and walking distance to the Moda Center and everything else in the Old Town area.

Hotel is in a great location, super walkable and easy to find. The rate per night including valet charge is very competitive. Unfortunately the condition of our room was downright gross. It smelled like a foot, and the bathroom was filthy. Uncomfortable bed and tiny pillows.

The major plus about this hotel is the location. It's right next to everything that we like to do in Downtown Portland. Other than that it's very basic. I'm Marriott Gold and I'm supposed to get free room upgrades when available. It was a Wednesday and nobody was even at the hotel when we checked in. I did not receive this upgrade when I asked The front desk rep with short hair and bad skin had no personality and basically just got us checked in as fast as possible. Poor Marriott customer service. Valet was efficient but expensive for an average hotel. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere better.

Pictures shown on the site are miss leading, the actually rooms are not even close to what the pictures show. Room was dark, barely any light, there was weird smell, barely any lighting in the washroom. No lotion was provided and room did not get cleaned the next day. Staff at the front desk was short and super rude, overall horrible stay! I thought staying at Marriott it would be a great place but I was wrong!

The hotel was centrally located and very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room rate was reasonable. We didn't have much occasion to interact with staff but the people we met were pleasant and professional. We had some concern going in about the safety of the area where the hotel was located but we had no problems or concerns at all while staying there or walking around, day or night. Valet parking was convenient, but absurdly overpriced at almost $50 per night. A block or two up Oak St. are a couple of parking garages with 24 hr rates of $15-16.

The hotel was ok, fairly clean but parking wasn’t great. The only parking available is down the street or they charge you $48 for valet per night. The walls are pretty thin and there were people partying in the hallway and next door to us until 3am. When I spoke to the hotel staff he seemed frustrated that I asked for a different floor and said he’d just send security up instead, that was around 2am. I had an early flight and I was exhausted. We hadn’t even entered the room so I don’t understand why he couldn’t just give us a new floor. Unfortunately, we probably won’t stay here again.

The parking / arrival experience at this property is terrible. The prices in the bistro are flatly, a joke. Look past those two things and it’s a standard issue courtyard by Marriott
