It can be a little challenging to get down into town but the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. We got free upgrade to a suite with balcony viewing of the sea and surrounded with purple wisterias. The suite was spacious and prepared the welcoming champagne and fresh fruits. "If you want to stay away from the crazy and touristy area of the port of Capri, and you don't want to break your budget, this is the place. It's high up on Anacapri, across the street from a 5-star hotel, so you get the views of the 5-star with the cost of the 4-star. The hotel is a beautiful old villa, with huge rooms, modern bathrooms (including a tub), fluffy white robes and slippers, and fabulous views. Staff was fabulously helpful and kind, and they PICK YOU UP with your luggage at the Capri port, no extra charge. Included breakfast was plentiful and fresh. It has a cool bar that in season (we went in April at the front edge) has music. It's a 10-minute walk to the chair lift up the mountain (go early in the morning before the cruises), and an easy b s ride to Lido Del Faro Beach Club which is totally worth the day. There is also a cool shopping area within a 5-minute walk. And because the island is small, you have easy access to the rest of Capri. We adored this hotel and it's wonderful staff, views, and amazing room. We highly recommend them!"
