Hotels near Norbugang Chorten

The views are great as long as it is not foggy/hazy. We had a few problems. When we arrived at the airport, the transportation we arranged through the hotel was not waiting for us. We ended up waiting for an hour trying to figure out where the driver was. Then we finally had to walk with all of our bags out to the parking lot in front of the airport. Poor communication by hotel management. The drive to the hotel was 5-6 hours on a windy single lane road. When we arrived, our queen/king was actually two beds pushed together because they have no larger beds. The room was cold every night, even with the small heater in the room. We asked for more blankets, but management said they do not provide them. The food at the buffet is often cold. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

I reached the hotel at 8.30 PM. I could not spk overphone since signal was weak due to hill area. Secondly, the confirmation letter of my booking said that there is no need to "reconfirm". The hotel staff said they were not expecting us so late. All the same, they arranged for dinner, tea and breakfast. When we wanted to continue our stay for one more day, they said they are closing down the hotel since it was "off-season" and we decided to leave Gangtok and proceed to Pelling, where they have another branch of the hotel and we spent two nights in Pelling. I reached at 8.30 PM previous night and left Sai Krupa at 8.30 AM next day morning. Within this brief overnight stay, I am not able to gather any information on the hotel. Incidentally, myself and my wife were the only occupants at their hotel in Gangtok and Pelling.
