Not kidding: burn holes inthe comforter, stains and pubes on the linens, the carpet was sticky. Full dump and not sure how the health department allows this place to stay open. Camping is a more sanitary option.

Motel charges $18 resort fee on top of the expedia price where most places show resort fees upfront. With the resort fee the cost is equivalent to a hotel. May as well stay there. Plus deposit is required in actual cash, not debit/credit. Then checkout is limited to 8:30-11 am. Cant get deposit back before 8:30. Just a very inefficient process. Room was clean, but wasnt ready at checkin.

The room needs some updates. But for the price I wasn’t expecting anything better. And also the pet price is not included even if you get a pet friendly room. When I was checking in they ask if I had a pet and then charged me the fee for my dog I didn’t understand that. I always thought if requested a pet friendly room then the price for the pet would be included.

This is one of the worst hotels you can ever stay at in Myrtle Beach. They have black mold, wet carpet and the hotel front desk staff is horrible. They don’t tell you about the $100 dollar cash deposit until you check in and about the percent fee tax. They also increase the pet fee from what they say is online. Horrible , dirty place don’t book here

We checked in everything was fine. I paid for another night online. At 1:15pm the next day they did a lock out on my room because my id had expired on January 19th I’m from out of state and didn’t realize when coming here that it was expired or I would have taken care of it prior to my vacation dates. An id is good for 30 days after expiration date the lady said she did not care we had to leave.. my friends I’d was not expired but the front desk said we still couldn’t stay because mine was still expired

Roaches crawling around in the room, room was filthy..maintenance came the first night and fix the window because it wouldn’t close…came the following morning to spray for roaches after I went to the front desk about the problem, the shower didn’t work well. The room was so disgusting my wife and daughter wouldn’t come to the property. The front desk staff was very rude also

To start elevator was out so had to lug belongings of me and four kids up to second floor On top of paying unexpected fees upfront No shower curtain and had to stuff a washcloth in drain to fill the tub one AC and it’s in the back room thankfully it was cool in the evenings only one tv in the front room outlets were a struggle as they didn’t have that many None in back room and moldy old coffee grounds were in the coffee pot

When my family and I arrived at the property we were charged with $100 cash deposit. Honestly that wasn’t even an issue. After we finally checked in and got into our room, we sat on the bed and it broke. The bed was held together by zip ties!!! The room was filthy, smelled horrible. When I woke up in the middle of the night and turned the light on, roaches scattered. I couldn’t bare another moment in that disgusting environment! The next morning we checked out even though we had paid for a few days. A refund was refused and that place is a complete ripoff.

My photos speak for everything. I stayed at this place back in May 2022. Someone said it changed hands since then and geez that place has went to crap. Now some of the employees that worked there deserve a better place of employment. But they was a couple of employees that attitude matches my rating for the place
This one was outside our doorway but I just put dog food in my girl dish and in less than minute they was one of those big cockroach in the food.
This was the comforter on one of the beds. It was a good size blood stained.
This cockroach was 1 of many running around in our room. They offered to spray the room but we had our dogs that we felt wouldn’t be safe with those chemicals. We asked about moving to the room next to ours but was told we were in a no move room.

Room and property were clean. For an inexpensive stay, it really wasn’t bad. Only negative things about this property, is the rooms are just so outdated and the elevator was out of order. The elevator part was not a big deal to me, but I wandered about others who struggle climbing stairs.

Due to booking through a “third party” I was met with having to leave a $100 CASH security deposit when we checked in. Of course, we carry very little cash. Convenient that they have an ATM in the small lobby-it charges $5.25 fee. The room looked like something from the 1960’s, bathroom was in bad shape. We were oceanfront which was nice except for the smell of urine at a small seating area between the motel and the beach. Room was okay but a lot of outside noise could be heard. It was bike week so would have expected a lot of noise.

The price was great and we enjoyed having a kitchen. The lady who first checked us in was very friendly. As far as negatives, I saw a man sneak behind the back wall facing the ocean at night and that made me feel uneasy. The curtain rod broke and the curtain fell off about a foot. The bathroom sink would not drain for a long time and the lady at the desk on Monday gave us completely wrong information about Barefoot Landing.

This place was a nightmare from the moment we stepped on the property. They charged us a $100 cash only deposit, that wasn’t listed online, just because we booked through a 3rd party and not directly through them. Which by the way they advertise $65 per night on their front office window, which is why they have the clientele they have. While we were there we witnessed 2 separate drug overdoses, I have photos! The room was disgusting, not clean at all, lots of damage, also have photos. The “ocean view” is a large window by the door that is on the sidewalk so if you want to view the ocean from your room everyone walking by at the motel can also view the inside of your room, what a joke. Smelled like weed outside my room the entire time. And lots of what appeared to be permanent residents there. When I first checked in my room smelled so nasty that I asked to be switched but the attendant said I booked a smoking room (it was the only option, and I honestly didn’t notice or even realize there was a such thing as smoking rooms these days!) she said “you get what you pay for”. I said “are you serious?” And she looked me dead in then eye and repeated it. Unreal. This place is the worst place I have ever stayed. Unsafe, nasty, dirty, rude, please please please do not stay here.

Nasty run down, front desk personnel lady's first name started with an M nasty, hateful, ugliest human being I've ever in countered. Wouldn't recommend. Have a 15 yr in wheelchair no working elevator heard later that's the way it's always there. We actually canceled due to first impression. Stayed at Bermuda Sands instead older building not cleanist in halls and elevators but our room was nice enough! No bugs!

We paid for an oceanfront view and we got nothing but a view of the pool. One of the beds was broken at the end. There was sand in the sink when we arrived. The stay was okay, which is what we expected for the price of the hotel!

Honestly, it looked filthy, cigaret burn on the sheets. Fridge in the bedroom. The sheets didn’t look clean. There was no light. MOLD all over the tub! Toilet was discusting. Pool was dirty. JUST PLEASE don’t even book. Pictures do not look the same at all! AT all. We left! We were not there 20 mins but still charged us a night! Be CAREFUL!

STAY AWAY!!! I would give this motel zero stars if I could. This "pet friendly" motel will charge you so many extra fees that it would have been cheaper to go to the Hilton. Cup of cigarettes under the broken bed, nasty floors, no microwave, bedding is nasty and worn, blood spots on my sheets, no ocean view JUST DONT. My $120 stay cost almost triple that after their "cleaning" fees, "resort" fees, pet fees... lady at the desk had zero f*cks to give. Only positive is that it is steps to the beach. This place needs to be condemned.
