When I arrived at the property I was surprised that I had to pay $11 per day for parking. I did not realized this was expected. Later that day I was sitting in the room when I noticed the center night stand that holds the telephone was a little flimsy. My child was walking by this beautiful night stand and it literally came apart and landed on her. I immediately called the front desk and reported the incident. The next morning I mentioned the incident to the Manager Maria. Instead of asking me how’s your kid doing? She immediately says kids climb on tables all the time. I stopped her and told her my kid was not climbing on the table. The table was missing all of the screws and it simply came apart. She was still defensive I couldn’t believe Hilton had someone in her position without any soft skill training at all. She’s like well we can send maintenance after you leave. I told her that I wanted maintenance to come immediately for documentation purposes. She sent a guy name Muhammad he didn’t say much I never heard back from anyone. I did tell the manager that I didn’t even sleep that night because of the incident. All I heard was crickets, she was also whispering things in Spanish to some other guy that was their with her. The unprofessional culture that you experience in Miami you really don’t see it anywhere else.
