“Class hotel!!!”

My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in August and we absolutely loved it!! We read some terrible reviews and were a little nervous going! However there was nothing we didn't like about this hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful!! We will defo go back! The pool is fab too and we met Jesse Metcalf there so defo a place to see the celebs!! Great hotel, great location!

“I didn't think LA could be so much fun.”

I was a bit dubious when my sis chose this hotel as it seemed that all it had to offer was its reputation as the hotel that hosted the first Oscars and of all the stars that frquented it in the good old days of Hollywood, not to mention some not great reviews. However, we came with an open mind and I tell you what, our doubts were unfounded. The hotel is fantastically located by Manns Chinese Theatre and the mall. Our room was super comfy and cleaned twice a day. The hotel is glamourous and yes it is dark inside which can be a little annoying (I wonder if it looks this good when the lights are on!) But all this adds to the ambiance. Staff everywhere were really helpful, taxis are ready outside to take you anywhere and there's free internet. The attached burger restaurant is really nice, tasty food and we never got used to the portion sizes. Overall, go for this hotel if you want a bit of class, comfort and be in the hub of Hollywoodland.

“Excellent Hotel - Would Highly Recommend”

We stayed in the Roosevelt Hotel for two night whilst in Hollywood. The hotel was clean and we felt very welcomed. The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. Around the pool it is very relaxing with comfortable beds, at night the pool area turns into a lounge area. Which is pretty cool and relaxing - this is only open to guest and the occasional celeb appears. We will be visiting again!

“Great location and would go to this hotel again.”

Great hotel, very atmospheric of a bygone era but still with enough current facilities to make for an enjoyable stay in Hollywood. I had read that the staff were pretentious but did not experience this at all. They were helpful and efficient. I would use this hotel again without hesitation. The location is excellent too. I travelled with United Airlines on the way out and Continental on the way back. I have to say Continental were the best airline I have ever flown with and I have used many different airlines.

“the only place to stay in hollywood”

This was our second trip to LA and to the Roosevelt. We stayed in a standard room last time which was fab, this time we stayed in a cabana over looking the pool and it was every thing I wanted. This hotel just screams old hollywood. If you want one of those big run of the mill hotels - this it not for you. If however you want to feel part of history, have an appreciation for dark and sometimes moody walls and rooms and want to feel special then go here. We stayed oscar week and it was exciting to say the least. Do have breakfast every day at 25 degrees - both times we have tried other places but always go back there - and even nicer they remember you and really look after you. Just saving to book again

“Excellent value for money”

Staying on Hollywood Boulevard was the perfect location and I was expecting poky over priced rooms but was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is really nice, the room was a good size. Bathroom was a little bit on the small size but it was perfectly nice. The bars and restaurants in the hotel were excellent and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

“Fantastic hotel, great location!”

This hotel had been recommended to me by a relative but i didn't realise just how nice it was going to be. The hotel itself is very modern and even a bit "plush". The location of the hotel is fantastic especially if you are going on holiday to see all the sights in Hollywood, it's directly facing graumans chinese theatre and i even seen a film premire happening there from my hotle window. It's also near some great shop's and restaurants in the hollywood&highland mall which is just behind the Kodak theatre where the Oscars are held. It honestly is a great hotel and the staff were great and really friendly as is everyone in L.A.

“Great Hotel”

Great hotel if a little expensive. Excellent location and it has really had a good refurbishment.
