“Will definately go back”

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. There was a continental breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit and toast which was ample. The staff were always asking if we were Ok and wanting more. The hotel was only 6 minutes feom Earls Court underground and easy to find.

“Thumbs up!”

I cannot fault this hotel. After having spent 8 nights here I was thrilled with the friendly service, clean and safe facilities, inclusions such as the Continental breakfast and the convenient location of the hotel. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to friends particular if they were in a similar situation to me, a young girl travelling solo. The hotel is mere minutes from Earl's Court station which will take you anywhere from Heathrow to Harrods. The bus which is practically outside the hotel was also very convenient if you were headed to museums or Victoria Coach Station for tours. Some other reviewers complained about the small breakfast but with toast, croissants, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, yoghurt, fresh fruit, a variety of juices and cereals, I'm not sure what else you want for free?!?! I would definitely stay at The London Lodge again.

“Would happily recommend...”

Stayed in the London Lodge Hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is situated in a very quiet street, just a five minute walk from the Earls Court Tube Station. The area has lots of eating places such as Zizzi, Wagamama. There were also FIlipino and Malaysian styled restaurants. Before arrival the hotel had said we could leave our luggage as we were due to arrive before check in. However on arrival they had our room ready, so we could go straight in and leave our cases and check out London. The hotel is in a lovely old building, but as is the way with old buildings, they are old! :) The bathroom is in need of some renovation. The shower was quite old and heated towel rail, was not heated. But the bedroom was very comfortable. We had a slight issue of no heat when we arrived, but they helped solve that problem, brought us a portable heater and also by the 2nd day had turned on the central heating. They also brought tea making facilities to the room. We stayed in room 1 and a warning to light sleepers - ask for a different room. It is next to a toilet which is quite noisy in the middle of the night. Breakfast was excellent and the owner was extremely attentive then and also throughout our stay. We never sampled the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on that. We just needed somewhere to sleep after action packed experienced in London and this was perfect for this. Would happily recommend!
