Absolutely terrible experience for the money you pay. We booked deluxe room which was small, destroyed and smelled bad. The tv was not working. The heating was not working as well.The air condition had only one option-20 degrees, hence was very cold during the night. The curtains was falling down as the certain rod was broken and we had to repair it.The breakfast was included in the price, however in the morning we were informed that the hotel is not able to serve breakfast, as the staff won't come at work this day. Avoid this hotel. They are so many hotels in Istanbul which have better conditions for this money.

Improvements could/ should be tea/coffee in the room or at least a bottle of water. Breakfast should be of your own choosing and not a plate already made up of the hotel's chosen food items for you. Choice to use the coffee machine the way you want. Rooms are small but OK and there is no mention that the staircases do not have handrails ( very poor for people who need that security) these said staircases are those circular stairs ones which are very narrow.

The staff were helpful and tried the best they can to leave a good impression but their kindness is wasted in the wrong place 1.the hotel didn't warn us that he didn't accept our online payment its gd that we had cash on arrival 2. The room is nothing like the picture not even close! It barely fits one person and you cant open ur bags 3.the bathroom roof was leaking for 4 days 4. The breakfast is very poor 5.you have to ask many times to get your room cleaned fyi they only change the sheets The only good thing is the terrace view

The staff tried to help, but it was overbearing at times. The hotel was nice, and the room was worth the value, but there was some obvious dirtiness in spots like behind the couch. Room phones didn't work.

Cheap very clean hotel which is located in a few steps from everything.'Area is safe and you wil find a lot of inexpensive restoration around. Don't expect much. Uncomfortable room. Some mosquitoes at night. Tipical Turkish breakfast. So basically you got what you paid for. Will return there because nice price. If you are on the budget this hotel is for you.

It was a modest hotel with private bathroom and toilet, we had AC in our room. Very good location. Close to all sightseeings by walk. No need a transportation.

Pleasent Hotel
Perfect location to access trams and close walking to major historical tourist spots, esp if on budget holiday. Helpful staff always willing to help.

The location is perfect for all the siteseeing. In the beginning one of the rooms we booked was not available and we were quite uncomfortable. After 3 days we got it & from thereon it was smooth. Mr Hasan and others (at the reception and restaurant also ) were very nice and tried to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable. The staff is very polite & nice. Service is good. Mr Hasan also gave us good info about siteseeing and directions etc. It is very clean. ( personally my criteria is cleanliness of room & bathroom comfortable bed ) in all, we enjoyed the stay.

Good location in the "old city" district.
This hotel is conveniently located, although the neighborhood is in a state of disrepair or being repaired (hard to tell) and economical.

Good value for money, close to main attractions
This is small hotel (15 rooms) is good value for money. Walking distance to main Sultanahmet attractions. Rooms are relatively small, but well equipped, new linen and daily cleaning. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you dislike street noise, ask for "side street or see view" room.

The facilities in this hotel were very nice, however, I was unreasonably charged for my car. While I was making the booking, I was told that the hotel can provide a free parking. However, when I get to the hotel, there was no free parking and I was told that I have to pay 8 liras a day for the parking. When I asked him why I was told that there was a free parking when I made the reservation, he just said that information was not updated. When I checked out, I was charged 16 Euros for the parking. The manager insisted that he said the parking fee was 8 euros, not 8 liras when I and my friend clearly heard him saying 8 liras. I was not totally happy with how he kept changing his words.

Not what I booked!
The room was very small, the bathroom little bigger than a closet, with a shower over a very small base (no curtain or glass). My printed confirmation had a room description ("This room opens to a patio...deep-soaking bathtub...separate dining area.." none of which were there or would have been possible). The DM first tried to make it appear that I had made a mistake, then when he checked the Hotels.com site, advised that a mistake had been made with the translation. The Turkish description was correct. I made it clear that while I understood that 'someone' may have made a mistake, the mistake was not mine, and the hotel has a responsibility to ensure that details online are correct. I asked what sort of refund I could get - he couldn't authorise any (!). I accepted a different room, which I looked at first (it was slightly bigger). Later issues included the cleaning lady not only moving my things, but also deciding to throw some of MY toiletries out (or took them). The Day DM first tried telling me that I must be wrong (about the room cleaner), then that she must have made a mistake. My 2nd request for some refund (based on all the above) was ignored. The building is not a safe place (in the event of any emergency/fire), with no emergency plan posted anywhere & hallway/stairway lights that are (sometimes) activated by movement. I decided to move out on the 4th day to a nearby hotel. "My Home" was one of the worst experiences I have had (and I travel frequently each year).

Great location, simple rooms, subpar staff
Location leaves little to be desired if you're in Istanbul for only a few days. Rooms are comfortable and simple (though as with many hotels in this range--they're a bit hanky: the TV didn't work, shower door was easily nudged off its track, etc.) I'd give the place high marks without hesitation except for the staff, however. Not terrible, but not as hospitable as most in Turkey. The night man tried to fib to me about the cost of the metro to try and persuade me to book a hotel shuttle--not the end of the world, just a real drag not to have a trustworthy staff member at reception.

Budget Hotel for a few nights
Tipical Istanbul hotel. Rooms a very small, walls are thin and you will hear your neighbor, little noisy outside. But LOCATION! Within minuts to every Istnbul attraction. Price was the best around.

My Home Hotel was a delightful experience for my wife and myself. The staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is ample and good, and our room had a beautiful view of the Marmara Sea. The hotel has only 15 rooms, and a limited number of those would have such an excellent view, but we were very fortunate to enjoy an extended stay (13 nights) in our enjoyable room.

Great Place to Stay
My Home was very clean and rooms were nice, for the price you couldn't ask for more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near all the tourist sites which makes it easy to get around. If your on a budget this is a great place to stay, head and shoulders above the hotels that are only $5-10 cheaper.

My Home in October
Hotel is clean. The lobby is nice where breakfast is served every morning, the spread is pretty good compared to other places. Staff is accommodating and kind. It is definitely worth the extra 10-20 dollars a night to spend on this hotel. And if you're lucky enough to have good weather you can enjoy the beautiful roof terrace that overlooks the water.

Manzarası güzel gürültü çok odalar küçük..
Fiyat ve bölge olarak iyi diyebiliriz. Fakat odayı son kattan secmekle hata yaptik sanırım :) manzarası güzel fakat teras restaurant olduğu icin gürültü gec saate kadar devam etti. Asansörün sesini saymıyorum bile.

Всем добрый день)) хочу рассказать о гостинице, в начале было недорозумение из за языкового барьера, так как деньги уже ушли с карточки, а позвонив в гостиницу сказали ещё что то оплачивать, я была в шоке , через несколько часов когда пришел более менее русскоговорящий менеджер разобрались, но эти несколько часов запомнила на всегда! А так гостиница отличная, персонал вежливый, культурный, все очень чисто, я даже не ожидала! Завтрак отличный и это все за такие не большие деньги))) благодарю Гостиницу, если буду в Стамбуле обязательно только к вам!

La cosa che non mi e piaciuta e che non hanno voluto x niente il pagamento con la carta di credito anche se il giorno prima hanno fatto il check sulla carta ...scarsa colazione...La cosa che mi e piaciuta e che sta a 5 min della strada principale e 10 min dal grande bazar.Il personale abbastanza disponibile. La stanza molto piccola ma carina .
