"Reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed."
Very happy with my stay. The staff was friendly and my room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast in the morning. Only downside is WiFi coverage is a bit spotty. Would definitely stay there again.

"Free updgrade"
We stayed in Edinburgh for 3 nights over the easter holidays. The staycity apartments were brilliant, about 10 minutes walk from town and the staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival we got a free upgrade from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment which was a bonus. The apartment was clean and had everything that you need. After reading reviews prior to our stay I was a bit worried about the £50 deposit per person that people were complaining about but we didn't pay this as we had already paid up front for our stay. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.

"Perfect location"
Directly opposite haymarket station, only 15 mins walk to princes street, can also get bus opposite to zoo (10 minute journey). Location is perfect! Hotel rooms are SMALL! Similar to pod type rooms, with a small shower/toilet cubicle. Perfect size for a city break place to crash but not much room to move around and limited hanging space. Staff were brilliant and friendly - we asked for extra pillows and they were delivered to room within 10 minutes. Basic facilities, no kettle in room but Starbucks and marks and spencer in station opposite for nibbles. Would absolutely stay here again, fab

"Good value, all you need available."
Very pleased overall. Good value for near the city centre, very spacious with good facilities overall, washing machine, dishwasher, etc provided which were of great help for the visit, with washing tablets etc provided for these- a small thing, however something which was extremely useful and helpful for us. Comfortable bed (although my girlfriend complained the pillows weren't good, while I liked them), sofas, seats, TV, microwave; really provides a lot of the services you need for getting on with your break- nearby cafe for breakfast and lunch, parking, whatever that lets you just get on with whatever it is you want to do in the city. Also should mention the staff were very friendly, helpful and happily explained things.

"Great 3* B&B"
I stayed here whilst at a conference - I needed a reasonably cheap and central place for 2 nights. As I only paid £35 per night (on a special offer), I was not expecting much. But I was so pleasantly surprised by St Valery. The room was basic but had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. I'd stay here again.

"Comfortable place to stay, good location"
Great place to stay, easy to find, friendly staff, secure parking available, nice to be upgraded to a larger apartment. Usual hotel quips of too hot and uncomfortable pillows! Minor gripe that the cooker had been used but not cleaned - quickly sorted.

"Perfect service!"
This is not a hotel, but a guest house. The service is excellent. Stayed there for one night when I was exploring Edinburgh. Great place!
