“Would definitely recommend.....”

We were collected by the hotel from our train, as we had requested, no waiting. On arrival we were greeted with cocktails and shown to our room. Hotel facilities are excellent and the benefit of the all inclusive drinks and food was definitely noted. Excellent food at all meal times and plenty of drinks!!!!!! Would heartily recommend if you don't plan on travelling around Goa.

“Nothing was too much trouble”

The hotel and all the team were attentive to ensure you had a great holiday. The whole of the complex was great and the outdoor dining nights were fab. I was ill on arrival from Delhi and the staff got me a good doctor and I was sorted in no time. Would really recommend this hotel.

“great place near the ocean”

great helpful and friendly staff, nice shops in the hotel, good taxi-tour service next to the entrance, the pool was a bit small but very close to the ocean, good food

“Good location/average food”

We thought the hotel was in a good location and had a lovely atmosphere. However. we felt that the food in the main restaurant was average with little choice.

“Nice staff but an avoidable rip off.”

First of all - the positives. This hotel has some of the nicest staff. Sekhar (housekeeping), Ganesh (Manager), Nancy and Skylon (Restaurant), Ashwin and Avinash (Pool Bar), Alex (Room Service) are efficient, friendly and pleasant persons. We had big problems as follows. 1) Expedia recommended a Club Room for a family of four, which proved too small and barely adequate for 3 persons. Our son had to sleep between the two beds! 2) The package is sold on the basis of "all-inclusive", but there are more exclusions than inclusions. Good quality seafood and wines are excluded. Both white and red wines in the "all inclusive" category are worse than Tesco's cheapest wine sold in disposible tetrapacks. You know what I mean. 3) The hotel's facilities are very basic. The games room, DVD collection, entertainment and "club atmosphere" are a joke. Our children got bored from day 2. 4) The owners of this property will rip you off. They recommend you use taxis outside the hotel. For example, they charge INR 1200 to go to the Colva beach (15 minute drive) instead of the usual INR 400 rate for a taxi. Internet is too expensive as well. 5) Lastly, many other guests at the hotel were impolite, rude, noisy and inconsiderate. They even squatted on our tables whilst we were serving the buffet food for ourselves!. In short this is a hotel equivalent of Ryanair. If you are an international traveller OR if you like good value for money, go elsewhere.
