"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great - just a couple of blocks from the Mall. It was great to have a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms were ok, not dirty but just a bit outdated. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Overall, a pretty good stay."

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "Beautiful property and room. It was only a quick overnight stay but we truly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room, and the view was incredible! My only gripe is the parking situation… it was across the street and the elevator was broken during our visit. We will stay here again :) "

"I really love this place, I've stayed here a few times. The rooms are nicely decorated, confortable and VERY clean. Nice hot breakfast in a early 1900's setting overlooking the campus green.
