“They should have paid me to stay here”

They were renovating the reception of the hotel and this involved construction crew attacking the walls with hammers WHILE PEOPLE WERE CHECKING IN!! There concrete chips on the floor and the function rooms were full of paint and bags of concrete, It looked like a war zone.The restaurants were so noisy you couldn't have a conversation. I complained to the duty manager and told him he should be embarrassed and he said "I know". This was the worst check in experience of my life. It is a Marriott after all
