"Great experience"
Had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable. It was close to the Meadhall. Champions was a good sportsbar. The train was very close. I got engaged while in Boston and when my fiancé ordered a bottle of champagne to be sent to our room, they gave it to us for free!

I love staying at this hotel. It's the perfect size. The rooms are comfortable, almost cozy with Americana themed art work and quilts. The location is very convenient with the T line located on the same street less than a block away. The offer a wonderful breakfast, have clean rooms and have great customer service.

"Just across the river from Boston!"
My husband and I had a great time here. The room was better than we had hoped. Loved the motion sebsored lights so I didn't wake him up during the middle of the night for my pregnancy bathroom break. The bed was extremely comfortable and we love their commitment to reusing!! Go Red Sox!

"Comfortable respite in the city"
Hello I arrived in Cambridge for a job interview. I stayed at the Harvard Square Hotel because it is in walking distance to the interview. It is very compact but has good amenities: comfortable beds, cozy bed linens and nice bathrooms. The lobby is pleasant to sit and have coffee or tea. Shopping and all types of cafes is just beyond the door. It's a perfect location. I'm a city person so I understand the typical city noises beyond the control of the hotel. There was some construction beyond my window.

"Best in Cambridge/Boston area"
I kept thinking "wow this place is expensive" they charge for everything, including parking. But then, when you experience it you quickly find out that it's all worth it. The hotel is exactly what every hotel should be, along with some incredible luck and good designers. Lucky because this hotel is connected to a mall, they even share the same parking lot. The great thing is that you can walk to the mall in your PJ's if you want to, which we did and enjoy some Starbucks, Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Changs, or another really incredible Thai place I can't remember the name of (along with shopping for Boston paraphernalia). To make them even luckier, the Hotel Marlowe is walking distance to the Science Museum. It also took us only 10 - 15 minutes to drive to Copley Square/Beacon St/Newbury. To top it all off the art is calming, the leopard towel robes in the room are hysterical, and the accommodations are 5-star.

"Awesome Location, Noisy A/C System"
The hotel location and staf were amazing. Very attentive to us. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The central air system was very loud. It would rattle and make loud noises when it turned on. Woke me up every time. Otherwise a beautful hotel!

"Nice hotel--close to all universities and colleges"
If you drive it's close to everything; if you don't drive they have shuttles to Harvard campuses etc. The staff are vey friendly, but the parking rate is still too high--not sure how is the price of other hotels around.

    Pocket Guide: Boston Cambridge Hotels

Cambridge’s celebrated universities, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard, take full advantage of the scenic Charles River. Harvard Square, at Massachusetts Avenue and Brattle Street, is a hotbed of activity, both intellectual and otherwise. Down the road, Central Square supports a lively music scene. Young bohemians trend toward neighboring Somerville, north of Cambridge.
