We didn't stay long just a couple of nights, before our flight to Sydney. We found it convenient and value for money, and would stay again if in the city.

Simple and nice
The hotel is a small but nice and convenient one. Located in Silom road one has good connection to any interesting place.

Horrible experience!
first they couldn't find my reservation, they finally they gave me a room but there was no electricity, so I had to move to another room with two beds. There were cockroaches everywhere! No elevator, breakfast was very limited. The next day they moved me again. Don't think I ever coming back there

Okay if just looking for a clean bed.
This is a great area near shopping ,restaurants and stree vendors. Patpong night market is a five minute walk down the same street , and ten minutes to the pier. The room was spacious but on the tired side. Would not take much to make it better. Had a lot of trouble with Internet falling out but it did work well in the lobby. Porter tried hard to fix . Ask Male desk staff if you need anything,they were very helpful. Breakfast was poor. Okay hotel if you are just looking for a clean bed . We travel to Thailand often and you get what you pay for.

A little dissapointing
We found the hotel a little bit dissapointing. The location is very good, near to the MTR station and walking distance from Patpong but that's about where the superlatives end. The reception staff and concierge were rather aloof, we asked for a twin room and rceived a room with two twin beds joint together by one sheet eventhough the head of the bed was prepared for two separate ones. There was also only one duvet and one pillow. The furniture seemed rather worn out and the shower curtain had holes in it, Overall, it wasn't a horrible stay but nothing really special either.

Very noisy, unhelpful staff
Good location but there was construction immediately below our room, very noisy. Reception staff very unhelpful, bordering on rude! Would not stay here again!

superb location within business area
travelling to bangkok since 1993 found the best hotel so far around silom area very comfortable location friendly staff and very reasonable roomrents stayed there for six nights and going to repeat it again for sure on my next trip

It is a budget hotel
It is a budget hotel in a very noisy area with a bar next to the rooms. One evening they had a party with a very loud band that continued until 4 am. No lift and the bell boy not always available. The bathroom tatty and a pipe leaked and the floor constantly wet that was not fixed. The breakfast nothing to rave about and difficult to get a taxi because of the location of the taxi. The only good was that there was a Starbucks close to the hotel where I could get coffee and something to eat

The staff at Heritage Baan Silom seems to be on a professional mission to destroy Thailand's reputation as the Land of 1,000 Smiles. Ugly body language, no eye contact, tetchiness: generally act like they're doing you a huge favor letting you pay to stay at their mediocre hotel. The rooms are weird, too. Touch something and it falls apart -- which complements the policy of charging guests for said breakages, all of which are listed on a (rude) sheet they leave in your room at arrival which lets you know what you'll be charged for if you break or steal something. They even list a price if you nick a mattress. If someone ever removed one, it was probably to get it cleaned. Nasty experience overall. Caveat emptor. (Pluses: Sweet cleaning staff and good AC.)

Good value, separate hotel entrance off main courtyard, located in a restored heritage building, area is central silom district, BUT no traditional street eateries, some distance from MRT/BTS -- and heavy road traffic, area overflowing with tourists

Large rooms
Rooms are large, quiet and clean. High ceilings. Lots of places to see hang around near hotel but we stayed two nights and a full day, so we spent our time visiting siam and temples. Breakfast could be better

Good location
Good location with easy access to local shops and restaurants. They did try to charge the cost of the room again to check in 1.5 hours early but did store our luggage for that time free of charge. Decor a bit dated but room was very clean. Breakfast not too inspiring. 10 minutes walk from the sky train which is cheap and easy to use.

Great Location But The Room Is Quite Run Down
Stayed here for 5 nights. They practise to charge full 5 room nights at the point of check in (which is strange) and they clearly stated that no refund allow stick on the desk. Upon entering the room we noticed that there are holes on the ceiling, mold behind bathtubs (etc), we can hear very clearly coming from the room next to mine. On top of all the comments, I must say that their hotel staffs are all very friendly and professional. Unfortunately that I will not return back to the hotel.

Stayed 2 nights in this bedbugs hotel - the first room does not have a working air conditioner to cool the room when is extremly hot outside with high humidity. The bed and the sheet is dirty, the chain is broken and the shower don't work. Hotel moved me to a different room but the problems is the same except the A/C works in this room.

Above average room for a decent price. Located in a pretty shopping arcade with nice restaurants. The one odd thing about the room was that it had no shower—just a bath (which was a nice big clawfoot tub).

We've stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we enjoyed . Location is perfect, it is area with jewellery shops and centres, lots of restaurants around with extremely delicious Thai food and reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious enough, worn out a bit but it didn't bother us. Iron and ironing board hotel provides by request. if anyone travelling from Malaysia please take an electricity adapter otherwise you will not be able to charge computer or phone. Shower is challenging but you have to spend only 2 mins to understand how it works and problem will be solved! Staff was friendly and helpful, all our requests were attended with smile and fastly. Breakfast is very poor: three types of fruits, some vegetables, boiled egg, cereals, toasts, jam, milk, orange juice, coffee and tea. Every day is the same. Don't expect beacon, sausages or omelette. If you are having breakfast after 10 am I advise to go to the restaгrants nearby, they serve English set breakfast for around 10-15 Bhat. By the way I strongly recommend hotel's restaurant for lunch, they are serving tasty thai dishes for a good price. We mentioned that many people from neighborhood offices come here to have their lunch as well. Overall hotel is very good considering price offered and great location.

Smooth stay in bangkok...
our first trip to the country of thailand was really very pleasant and memorable. Particularly the stay and the location of the hotel. We could easily get a taxi or a tuk-tuk right in front of the hotel. 7-11 right opposite the hotel. thai restaurants, starbucks within the hotel premises. Staff and the house cleaning were very polite and helpful. Safety was not at all an issue. We could get anything we wanted without walking any further. overall a very pleasant and a comfortable stay.

Second Time Unlucky
I had stayed here a week previously and was impressed (lucky) as I was greeted by a English speaking relaxed receptionist who tried to please me in every way. My second stay was an altogether different experience. The previously working internet was of-line for my whole 4 day stay. I was put in a shabby room... nothing like the first one ! Pot-Luck - that's what I call it.

Cosy & safe colonial style in the middle of Bankok
A cosy and safe home from home in the middle of Bangkok. This hotel has real style - colonial style. This hotel has no in-house health spa or roof-top swimming pool but this brings out the "Feng shui" or comfy atmosphere even more. The in-room fast working wireless internet, spacious stylish rooms and beautiful surroundings make it great place to stay in the vibrant Silom area of Bangkok. The skytrain is nearby and the hotel staff are most accommodating...

The best in my stays this time..
Service was good on arrival, quick checkin etc. Rooms were very neat and tidy with all facilities. Location was opposite shopping centre. Lots of restaurants at just a short walking distance. Highly recommend staying for short or long periods.

We had a great stay at the hotel and it was our 2nd stay after 2 years. The only let down feature was the breakfast and that too for Vegetarian

STAY AWAY - poor guest services.
Instead of providing quality customer services to guests, staff were playing game on the computer. Staff gave me the wrong room and I walked into a room with other guest taking a nap.

Right from the start this was the worst hotel experience i have ever had. The reception staff were uncooperative and inefficient. It took them nearly 1 hour to arrange an extra bed that had been booked weeks in advance. There were no staff available to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs. The charge for the extra bed (for a child) was almost as much as the room rate. When i rang reception to ask to have the room telephone fixed, i was told no it was to late there was no one available to fix it. I think this was probably a nice hotel once, but now it appears the staff are running things with no management. However, the location is great .

Lovely room, but quite far from BTS
Rooms are lovely with white tone decoration . Only 2 floor no lift . Located in good location, shopping and nightlife in silom road, but quite far from Surasak BTS 15 min walk. In room WIFI available. Early Check-in or late check-out price is equal as 1 night more.

Hotel staff were courteous & helpful. Hotel rooms were clean and of reasonable size. Distant from hotel to BTS (Surasak) was about 10mins walk. Not too bad but road is abit too quiet if you are to return to the hotel late. Would recommend if the hotel can provide tuk tuk transport for guests to & fro the hotel & BTS. Breakfast was ordinary. No complaints. Taling Pling Thai restaurant at the hotel arcade serves good & reasonably priced dishes. Overall, nice hotel.

Lovely but needs alot of repairs
I stayed one night in this hotel. It was a lovely looking exterior with the potential to be great. the location was a little far from the train station but still manageable. When i checked into the room, i was glad that they had taken my request of the specific room type but very dissappointed with the lack of repairs. the desk, cupboard and bed needed some major repairs. at 4 am, i had to wake up to place a rag on the floor as the aircon was leaking so much that water had splashed on my feet. Overall, i still managed to get some rest but given the location and repair work, i will not be soon.
