Well, this is definitely not where the beautiful people stay. The guests are fairly transient, and tend toward older, out of shape Americans, Europeans, and Asians.
Service is perfunctory; in fact, everything except the views - which are great; screams mediocrity. The rooms are okay, but old and dated. The gym is pretty decent for a hotel gym.
Location is great if you're going for very high end antiques at River City mall, which is connected to the hotel. Otherwise, nearby dining options are very limited, and the restaurants in the hotel are not fresh or exciting.
Highlight here is watching the river traffic. You can catch a ferry across the river to the Icons of Siam mall, which has endless food and shopping options, but waiting for the ferry on both the go and return is kinda a hassle.
