“Wonderful stay”
A fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. So close to the sky train really convenient for getting around the city. A luxurious hotel but not stuffy, really friendly and helpful staff would definitely stay here again.
“Great attention to detail”
We chose the Hansar as a treat for our first anniversary and you do get quite a lot of luxury for your money. We selected one of the cheapest rooms and even this had a more than adequate kitchenette and office area which could be isolated from the rest of the suite by a sliding door. One very minor complaint in this area - we couldn't find the switch for the main light (we could, of course, have asked!). The minibar contained a few snacks and drinks, including beer, which were included in the price of the room. These could be replenished on request. The hotel staff were very eager to please. The bedroom was spacious and made you feel cosetted. The bathroom was large and tastefully designed with separate bath and shower and wardrobe space opposite the double basins. This again, was separated from the bedroom/living room by a sliding door. Breakfast was the best I've had anywhere in the world with amazing choice and quality.
“perfect location”
This is one of best hotels i've ever stayed at, and because it is a hotel & serviced apartments, the room even had a kitchenette which came in handy for welcome change of some home cooked food. The room was spacious with sliding doors separating bedroom from bathroom and kitchen area. There was even washer/dryer available so you could do your own laundry if so desired. The fridge was stocked with complimentary beers. yes...that right...you heard me correct...two complimentary beers per day!!! The location of hotel is perfect. Easy access from airport with couple interchanges on BTS. The hotel is literally 5min. walk from station. The hotel is also located one stop from Siam and all the shopping you could ever want. Also nearby is Nana and Sukumvit for restaurants, clubbing and bars.
“Perfect location”
We had a great stay at the beginning of our Thailand trip. The hotel is within one minute of BTS (Skytrain) station, walking distance to shopping district and many good eating places. It was so great a start and relaxing that we did book the same arrangement again before we left Thailand.
“Hansar Bangkok a gem in a big city...”
We found ourselves in Bangkok a day earlier than needed and were delighted to find room at this smaller 'boutique hotel' in the city. The room was amazing and fabulous value and the staff from check in to departure could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Brilliant hotel!
“A Calming Oasis in Central Bangkok”
A well positioned and modern hotel; close to local BTS Skytain station and a walk from shopping malls. Room (Edge Suite) very well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Not sure about the glass panelling in the bathroom / WC area - complete lack of privacy. Breakfast buffet plentiful and dining at the hotel's Eve restaurant in the evening is delightful, with attentive waiters and chef's that clearly take pride in what they produce. All other hotel staff were courteous and welcoming. The swimming pool on the 8th floor was a great place in which to cool down during the heat of the afternoon. Checking-in and checking-out was straightforward. The Hansar's a perfect retreat from the mustle and bustle of Bangkok. Highly recommended.
“Great hotel for all travellers”
The hotel is superb. Very comfortable and quiet accommodation. I had a studio suite and it was very generous in all respects. A haven of welcome comfort and coolness to come back to in Bangkok. Lovely pool. Excellent breakfast. Modest prices for room service. Free drinks in the minibar including lager and beer if you wanted it. Fresh snacks such as crisps and fruit in the room. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The suite had a balcony and a decent view of the golf course. The location is right next to the Sky Train stop and only about 5 minutes walk from the central shopping area. It is a little way away from the river but a taxi or the train are cheap so not a problem. I would definitely choose to stay here in Bangkok and should I return, I would stay here again without question. It is fantastic value for what you get. I could not see any need to upgrade from a studio suite. A hint for solo travellers especially a female like myself is to ask carefully at the lobby when you go out for directions, especially how to get back to the hotel. It is quite easy to get somewhere in Bangkok, but not so easy to return. Make sure you take a hotel card with you to show drivers as they do not all recognise the name of the hotel or know where it is. Take a taxi with a meter. A lot of traffic jams and getting about can take longer than you think. The Sky Train is a good option once you have worked out the stations.
“Excellent hotel and great location.”
Great location for the Skytrain and shopping areas. Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside is that the public areas are quite dark and not very lively, but this did not matter to us as we were out and about.
“good weekend”
Great hotel, very high standard very proffessionaly run. Location is very good for shopping a many social activies. The Eve restaruant at night was excellent.
“The best in Bangkok!”
Every need was attended to. Very helpful. Great value for money and will return on our next trip. Stayed at 3 places in Bangkok this trip and want to return here. Close to shops, food and short taxi to old town attractions. Right next to train for boat ride and night market transfers!
