"The property is beautiful and easy enough for cabs or grab to come and pick you up. Not really walkable to anything too interesting but there’s a free shuttle to Jimbaran beach. Breakfast buffet included and the property is as advertised. "

"Lovely villa in very quiet area of Ubud. If you were looking for a secluded place to get away from every day hustles, this is the place to be!! The wifi connection was decent. The location was very inconvenient if you want to explore central Ubud and only one dining option available within the resort. Some of property features were "overkilled" I thought, like outdoor shower, toilet and living area. Certainly they did add "charm" but when raining, practicality and inconvenience took over. But...

"I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall."

Two notes for improvement: (1) food quality at breakfast could easily be improved (e.g., the sausages are made with fake meat - it wouldn't be hard to use better ingredients). "We bought the honey moon package. We stayed 3 nights in villa 1 The package includes free airport pick up, welcome cake, and candle light dinner by the pool. We love the location of the villa, it is just 3 mins walk to the beach where there are seafood snd others choices of eateries. Villa number one is good size for a couple, we have a private pool which is maintained very well. The decoration is simple but well tasted. They have diffetent choices for breakfast, the food is ordinary but...

"We had an excellent stay in the 2 bedroom villa. 2 adults 2 kids. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Wonderful with the kids too, nothing is a bother. Cleaning and service was fantastic. "An absolute slice of heaven away from the busy hussle and bussle. Amazing staff very friendly and helpful and always a smile on their face, resturant on site with great brekfast options and the villa and the private pool was the highlight!!! "Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
