“Fair value accommodation in Auckland”

A surprisingly large hotel in a quiet area of Auckland, but with quite a walk (15 mins) to the nearest restaurants and bars and the bus stop to central Auckland. The accommodation was very satisfactory but not large. The external appearance of the place is more of a block of flats than a hotel. The breakfast in the on-site restaurant was quite expensive by European standards, but good with dishes freshly cooked to order.

Rather bleak. OK as a posh motel on the midddle skirts of Auckland but too far to walk anywhere. No character really, but ok for the one night I was there in transit
